is it 100% Boar Bristles? One of the reviews stated it was plastic with boar bristle on the tips.

The product that I purchased was not double-sided. It was Model #D8119. It was made in China (what isn't?) and the brush is 100% boar bristles and the brush is wood.

What are the dimensions?

Not sure the dimensions but it’s about the length of a ruler maybe a little smaller!! I absolutely love this brush! Best brush I’ve bought for edges

Is this brush good for smoothing hair back for a ponytail

So sorry. I got this for my Dad and he just brushes his scalp with it. My guess is that it would not be stiff enough for a long ponytail but it is just a guess.

Can women use this brush also?

ABSOLUTELY!! But I have very long hair and prefer different type brush. My husband loves it for his short hair though.
