I read all the reviews and this was my second time ordering these,i read the one that said he found pieces of blue plastic in it but didn't notice anything.too bad at my second bag of these around 60% i smelled something i thought my grill internals are burning but when i opened the pallet container i saw the same thing few pieces with "big" pieces of blue plastic in them.needless to say wont order any of these again no matter how good and cheap they are....(two bad i ordered two last time i still got one)

Best cooking pellets for the money here on Amazon.  I have now purchased 6 bags of the perfect mix for my Traeger Smoker (purchased from Costco roadshow).  I've purchased BBQ Delight pellets from their website, but they do not sell large quantities here on Amazon.  The mix is better in my opinion and the opinion of my family who eats the food.  Pellets are great for brisket (very long smoke) and pulled pork (long smoke).  The verdict is still out on chicken as it is tough to smoke with the skin.One note, these do leave a fair amount of ash.  After a very long smoke, I vacuum out the ash before smoking anything else.  The amount of ash is same as BBQ Delight pellets.One bad thing about these pellets.  The shipping.  They come in a cardboard box which is very snug with the plastic bag.  If you use scissors to open the box you will cut the plastic and need to put the pellets in a container.

I read the manufacturer's response to the customers who found blue plastic in their pellets and assumed that all of the manufacturing problems had been resolved, I guess that may not be the case. During the initial loading of my hopper, I spotted a pellet that I'm sure is not safe for food use. The pellet has what appears to be green paint or plastic imbedded. With the number of pellets in a bag, who knows how many pellets actually contain these unnatural impurities? (Photo attached)
