These are handy and effective for maintaining the proper humidity level in a humidor. You can place one in the box, and the rest will stay fine in the sealed bag until ready to use. Boveda Humidity pads are well made and are effective at keeping the humidity level in my humidor at the right level. Two pads are enough to cover the cigars in the humidor.

Perfect product. I should have noticed they sold different sizes bc these things are huge. It's not a problem really bc they are flat, so they only take up space in 1 dimension, but still. Huge. Very large. Also I didn't need a 4 pack. I really only needed 2. A single pack keeps a perfect 70% for up to 50 cigars, well, probably more but I don't have an enormous 100+ humi to test it in. I keep 1 pack in, then swap the other pack in when the first dries out. This way I always have 1 pack in my humi & 1 pack recharging. Sadly, my other 2 packs are still completely unopened & unused bc I just don't need them. I will probably end up giving them to a friend. OK, I don't have any friends, so nm, I'll just leave them laying around. All alone. Forever. Sigh. These Boveda Packs work exactly as they should, and they work very, very well. Perfect humidity levels, all the time. I've tested it with and without the regular default humi sponge inside my humidor, and there's no difference. The reason is, these packs are 2-way. They release *OR* absorb moisture as needed to keep the level at a perfect 70 at all times. I just keep the sponge in there all the time now & it seems to make the pack last a bit longer. (I keep the sponge filled with Humidor Solution of course). And yes, you heard me, after a pack dries out I recharge it. Contrary to popular myth, they are rechargeable & indefinitely re-usable. These things may last longer than my cigar affliction, err, obsession....hobby? ;p Using Distilled water or the ever popular cigar humidifier solution (50/50 of Propylene Glycol + Distilled Water), you simply re-energize them when they dry out and they are quite literally, as good as new. Awesome product, well worth the money. And for anyone tossing these in the trash when they dry out.....sorry mate, but you're doing it wrong. Keep 'em, recharge 'em, re-use 'em. Cheers.
