Does anyone use this Sony BDP-S5100 to get and watch Amazon Prime ?

we find it gets a more reliable wireless signal than the TV, so we use this as our primary method for watching Amazon Prime, Netflex, and Hulu Plus

Is this wireless wifi or does it require direct connection to the modem?

Is wifi. After so much battle I realized that my out HDMI port is loose inside, hence the lack of picture on my screen.
