Or is it wood sub floor use only?** A: I have two of these items bonded with epoxy in a cement floor and they are still securely holding some stair railings after one year. If your tile, however, is ceramic I think it's likely that you will crack it when you torque down the newel post. Can you cut a hole in the tile and mount directly on the concrete? **Q: Where is it manufactured?** A: The company and product are sourced from Australia, but unable to verify if it is manufactured there or elsewhere. They do say "Zipbolts are made from various metals, these include mild steel, heat treated steel alloy, Zinc diecast and all parts a zinc plated." **Q: What rails come in white?** A: The kit comes with a wood grain plug, but could be painted white if needed. **Q: Ive stripped out my worm drive inside the fastening device. Instead of purchasing a new kit, what size nut would work?** A: Nathan, there are a few companies selling the Super UT. It is a left hand tread so the gear system will tighten. Not a normal size. Not sure what company you made the purchase with. If you send your order number I will either credit, or send a new one. Whatever works. No wrench needed and when it came to leveling and pluming the post the cam assembly made it quick. The only drawback is there was no impact socket in the package. I had no issue installing them with a large adjustable wrench, it just took a bit longer.
