This is the BEST of all of the Spin Mops!
I used another brand of spin mop that I bought here on Amazon, when I cleaned my house last Saturday, and I was very disappointed. I couldn't understand the directions because they were written by someone who obviously did not know English. So I went online to see videos to understand how to assemble the handle and how to use the mop and pail. That mop was a "dual drying" spin mop. Sounded great but it wasn't. The mop head had to be at a certain angle to allow drying using the foot pedal and at another angle, along with the handle being unscrewed a certain way, to dry by spinning it using a churning-butter motion in the pail. The handle would often collapse when mopping. My pail was cheaply made and there were small holes in the bottom of the pail where the pedal mechanism was screwed into the pail too far, causing the screws to come through the inside of the pail. The pail would try to skid away while drying using the pedal. It just didn't seem right. I returned that mop and bought this one, which I used yesterday to clean my entire house. What a difference!! The pail was so much better made, the pedal assembly was better made and smoother to use, there are little suction cups on the bottom of the pail to prevent the pail from sliding away while you pump the pedal. The mop only dries by using the pedal, but consequently, doesn't have to be at a certain angle, and the handle doesn't collapse when mopping. This mop has made it fun to clean because it is so effective and so easy. This mop could replace any and every other mop on the market. If my cleaning girls had had this mop, they might have done a better job cleaning and they might still have their job cleaning my house! Get this mop if you clean your own house and get this mop for your cleaning people if you have someone else clean your house!

a great new way to mop! I used to hate to mop, now it's easy and almost fun.
This mop works very well and the duster that comes with was a pleasant surprise. I didn't even know that it was included. You can reach high places with the long mop handle like the top of walls where cobwebs like to form. It's wonderful to have the mop so dry after spinning it. No drippy mop and no wringing out with your hands.. my only complaint is that the mop can't be washed in the washing machine. But it comes with 2 mop heads.

Better than expected.
I actually saw this advertised on the Home Shopping Channel and it seemed kind of easy to use. So I went to Amazon and sure enough, they had it for a few dollars less and free shipping (always a saving). Couldn't resist to buy it and after using it the first time, I was very pleased with the results. No more crawling behing the toilet was the biggest plus. I usually used a steam cleaner for the bare floors but it was always kind of hard to maneuver around tight spots. Not so with this mop. It goes everywhere and leaves the floors nice and shiny without ever having to touch it. The bucket does a great job on spinning it dry. Another thing I noticed that the floors actually stay clean longer than with the steam. The dust remover also does a nice job before washing the floors. Love it, very easy to use and no backache after!

spin mop just OK
best feature is you don't have to touch the mop head. handle is flimsy, mop head connection is flimsy. did not challenge on messy pickup, but does an OK job at regular mopping, then spin dry of mop head. I don't expect it to last too long with use with the overall flimsy construction all components.

Easiest, Best Cleaning Mop!
This is the best mop I've ever used. It's lightweight and picks up dirt VERY well. Your water will look nice and dirty! You'll be amazed at wasn't getting picked up by ordinary sponge mops. I saw where people complained about dirty water going back into the clean after spinning... well, that's a bit nit-picky to me since that's how most mops are. The truth is, once you spin it out, you're not spreading around grime - the microfibers are just picking more up! MopAway for the win! The dust mop works really well too after you broom up the heavier debris (like leaves and pine straw). My dogs track in a lot and this mop makes it look as if there are no dogs living here.

I Do Love It
This is my first ever attempt at writing a product review. I ordered the MopAway Dry/Wet Microfiber Super Absorbent Floor Mop with Bucket to use on my hard surface floors. It meets and exceeds my expectations. The mop bucket removes water from the mop which is important for laminant flooring and hardwood flooring. II have a lot of ceramic tile flooring also. I can remove moisture during cleaning which is a great safety feature too, for the tile flooring dries very quickly. It is very easy to use, saves having my hands in dirty water. I will reorder, plus I show the mop system to anyone who visits my home. Plus and most important: This mop does not leave streaks on my hard surface floors.

love the mop idea, hate the quality
I am so embarrassed. I have had a mop like this for several years so I bought one for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. She just called me and told me she tried it out last week and liked it but used it again today and the mechanism that you step on to spin the basket broke a small black piece of plastic out of it. I can't return it, it has been longer than three months so now what?

Does the Job
UPDATE 10/29/13: A white plastic piece broke off the spin mechanism when my wife was using the foot pedal. While this product worked well initially, it didn't last long. My wife is a tiny girl. She wasn't using any excessive pressure on the foot pedal. It's plastic; it just broke. From our experience, we'd tell you to just be aware, this item is not built for longevity. The following review is still relevant, so read on. ------------------------------- I installed laminate hardwood floors throughout the upstairs of our house and the stairs. It was nice to remove all the carpeting, which caused my wife a lot of allergy problems. In return for the hard work of installation, and now that we have a new baby trolling about the house, she likes to keep the floor spotless! With this new floor, the manufacturer recommended warm water and white vinegar as a cleaning agent. This works fabulously and is super cheap, but the acidity of the vinegar attacked our metal mop handle and deteriorated it over time. My wife saw this style mop on QVC and asked if I can locate it online. She and I looked at all the mops on Amazon and purchased this one. She's been using it for a few months now and basically likes it. She's not a tall woman (5' tall), so the smaller size is ideal for her. The foot spinning action is something she really likes, but she was somewhat disappointed to find, after spinning the saturated mop, it still left a lot of water on the floor when mopping. She's taken some time to get used to it and found she has to give it a lot of spins, then mop a large area to spread out the excess water, then go back over the larger area and remop it after the air has evaporated some of the water. Basically she has to mop the same area twice. This picks up the excess water and keeps water spots from becoming noticeable when the water dries. The basic design of the bucket is nice. The suction cups on the bottom of the bucket keep it from moving around and the bucket handle is situated properly to keep the bucket even when picked up. The mops are not the style that we can find at our local stores, so the only drawback is I think we'll have to purchase replacements online. She basically likes this mop, but it wasn't quite what she expected based on what she saw on QVC. In fairness, this may not be the exact mop they were selling, but it is a spin-style mop, and she was disappointed to find it didn't spin out as much water as she had hoped. Regardless, it does the job and I suspect we'll use it until it falls apart. Whether or not we replace it with another spin-style mop is something she'll decide at a later date.
