Precision-machining and hand-finishing are crafts that only a rare breed can appreciate - Katana was created for those few. Construction features a fully CNC machined case (from engineered billet materials) that makes it virtually impossible to break, bend, or twist; a one-piece front bezel, CNC machined from corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel billet; and a chassis that is CNC machined from military grade G10 glass composite for extra rigid protection. Other features include Fast Tap Buttons, crafted from CNC machined aluminum, that protect your iPhone controls while providing quick and easy use of volume and on/off functions; and the 2-Cush Liner System of elastomeric liner material (E-TECH foam) that is used to suspend and cushion your device for a perfect fit and superior drop protection. A secure fit is also ensured thanks to the SLS Screw Lock system (including eight stainless steel screws) firmly fastens the front bezel to the G10 chassis. Most importantly, Katana has been Mil-Spec drop tested, having passed stringent military specification drop-test requirements.
