9GreenBox - 5 Money Tree Plants Braided into 1 Tree - 4" Pot

Having read the bad reviews, I was hesitant about ordering this plant, but it arrived promptly and was very well packed so as to be protected during shipping. I repotted it immediately because it came in a very small pot, and since both shipping and repotting are shocks to plants, I wasn't sure if it was going to survive. One set of leaves did fall off, and that made me even more concerned, but as things turned out I needn't have worried. These plants enjoy bright indirect sunlight and a lot of humidity, but don't want to be overwatered, so I set it in front of the window but behind another plant to filter the sunlight, and put it in a pan with water and pebbles so that the bottom of the pot doesn't touch the water but the water can evaporate around the plant to provide humidity. It has been less that two weeks now and the plant is growing six new shoots, each one of which has five tiny leaves. That's 30 new leaves, so I know the plant is now adjusted and doing well. If you do an online search for "Breathe Easier: 12 Houseplants to Purify Indoor Air" you'll find a list of some of the best indoor plants to have, which toxins each plant is best at removing from the air (according to NASA studies), and a brief description of how to care for them. More detailed instructions can also be found by searching online for each plant's name. The Money Tree Plant and the Areca Palm are the two plants on the list that require a little more care, but there is also a plant called the Mother-in-Law's Tongue that is extremely hardy and needs very little care at all. If you don't have the ability to care for plants, you should choose those that are easier to care for. The Money Tree Plant is one of the top three on the list of the best indoor air-cleansing plants, and I'm very happy with this one. It looked exactly like the picture when it arrived and looks even better now. When I want new plants I won't hesitate to order from this seller again.

If you need something temporary, this is great. Two of the trunks were squishy and appear to have been rotted. A lot of leaves were bent from shipping and there weren't many instructions on how to take care of it. I think it looked nice and the braiding was cool, but that's it. UPDATE: Seller contacted me for the first time out of no where asking me to take down my poor review because they had resolved things. That was the first time they ever contacted me. Not only is the plant not doing so well, neither is their customer service. This transaction has been horrible. THere goes another star.

This plant has a life of its own. It looks radiant as it keeps growing and growing.. I never had a plant that looked and grew so well after I transplanted it to a bigger pot. I’ve bought many upon many plants at the Home Depot that all have a hard time growing after I get them home. . Plant Steroids comes to mind as they must have been using some sort of juice mixture to grow their plants in order get them looking so healthy for public view. Then when I get them home... they all have a hard time growing , no matter what soil or mix I use , no matter how much I maintain the plants H20 , they all fade away or mostly just stop growing anymore. That’s not the case with this always looking healthy happy plant. I think the plant likes its new home and is glad to be here. .. It’s more than just your everyday plant , this one may have a soul that loves its new environment ,

Delivery was fast! I say from a 1-10 the tree is a 9. Tree is healthy one or rep leavea were broken, Pot small and plant couldnt stay up. I had to repot which went well. Mines must be young alot of New Growth kinda small but not to small, seems to be in perfect health. She alil down opon arriving but brighten up right away opon placing her under the light. Trunk is very Strong and thick, fairly braided well ill added one more wire to tighten more of the twist. It was watered and wrapped nicely. Overall very healthy tree! I am looking foward to writing a one week update and hopfully a 5 star.

I ordered this awesome little tree from 9GreenBox on the 25th of Sept. and received it today, just 3 days later, and it was in great shape. It's got a ton of leaves all over it, and is pretty tall, too. Very healthy looking. At first, I was a little doubtful of buying a live plant online, but after reading a bunch of reviews about this seller, I decided to take a chance, and I'm glad I did! I've always wanted a money tree ever since I bought one for my mom years ago for her birthday, I just have never been able to find one in any stores near me, so I was excited when I read about this. I would definitely recommend buying from this seller (again, I ordered from 9Greenbox, I don't know about any of the other sellers that offer this), the tree was packaged securely with packing peanuts, wrapped in plastic, with a paper towel taped over the pot to protect the dirt, I assume, and arrived in a timely manner. Hopefully I don't kill mine now, but from what I remember of the one I got for my mom, they're relatively easy to care for, and apparently do pretty well being shipped across the country, too. :)

This is NOT a 4 inch pot...it is 3 inches at the base and 3.5 inches tapered to the top. for the cost, it's not a good value, considering after i ordered this i found 2 at my local lowes for $5.98 each in 6 inch pots. I attempted to cancel the day after i ordered and it never went through altough it was 4 days before it went out for delivery. the positives were that it was packed well with peanuts in a long enough box, only lost one branch (which i can root in water) looks healthy with a good trunk sturdy and braided. i repotted into a 6 inch pot and saw that it did have a root system, but again very tiny. this will need real TLC and patience. I am growing these trees for holiday gifts for nephews/nieces that are moving into new homes....hopefully they will stabilize by then. Amazon you put your name on this as a distributor--change the information to be truthful. 9 greenbox is not helping your sales

I just received this plant and it is a disaster. After paying shipping for this plant, you would think that the company would do a better job of the packaging for shipping. All of the soil was out of the pot (the pot is way too small for the trunk to start with). I had to place it in a bowl just to get it watered (the soil is also sitting in the bowl). See the attached photo. Does this look like anything in the photo of the product? It has three small sets of leaves and the trunk is brown. My tree arrived packed well. It was just as described. It was a bit scrunched in the box, but I don't think a single leaf has died on it. Within about 2 weeks, I noticed new growth! I'm going to have to braid the new growth soon. The pot is extremely tiny that it comes in, but I just repotted it the day I got it into a bigger one. It seems quite happy and looks awesome. It looked almost exactly like the picture. I had trouble getting my tree delivered (the post office had a problem), so I thought for sure it was going to be dead. It also looked like my tree had been delivered to the wrong address. I was supposed to get it on a Saturday. I quickly emailed the company, 9GreenBox. I expected them to get back to me in a couple of days, but they emailed me that same evening! They told me if my tree had been lost in the mail that they would ship out a replacement. They were polite and helpful and I will buy from them again. I was concerned about buying a tree online, but I actually got this one and a bonsai from 9GreenBox. Both were well packaged and while I probably will refrain from ordering plants during heat waves and cold spells, I won't hesitate to do so during milder weather. Both trees included some basic directions. I have a black thumb, but I've followed the directions and my trees are thriving. :)
