I have 2 family members that have very bad luck with phones .... and so they get to have this case. It is heavy. It's all aluminum around the perimeter, rubber on back and in choice areas, etc. Screen protector is integrated into the case. I'd say the only real downsides to this is that the screen protector is not replaceable. It is also heavy. But if you are paying for the phone and the recipient of such is reckless or unlucky, this case will definitely save you $$$ in phone repairs. Nothing is completely foolproof, but this case gets pretty close. I've bought a few and I haven't found anything better.

So I’ve bought 3 of these for 3 different iPhones. I have not had another case that is this durable. It has saved my phone countless times. I am in the landscaping and hardscaping business and I am always dropping my phone on rocks, running over it with wheel barrows, getting it dirty, etc. the only thing I did to modify it was, pulling out the screen protector it came with and installing one that sticks to the screen. Though it isn’t technically water resistant now, I’ve found that the case fits so tightly that water splashes do not really make it past the case. Again, landscaper here, my phone has been sprayed by sprinklers and dropped in (shallow) mud puddles and NO damage. The paint does start to chip off and I’ve lost a few screws, but it comes with extra, just keep up with those. And for those of you that are go getters, putting a little locktite on the screws prior to installation pretty much cures this issue. But don’t put too much cuz you’ll never get the screws out of you need to open the case. Just the teeniest tiniest dab you can imagine will do it. Oh, one more thing, only downside to this case, because it’s metal, I seem to lose service when traveling before others do. I live in Austin Texas and can travel between Houston, Austin, and Dallas without issue, but when I get further out, I’ll lose service and my wife won’t. I don’t really mind that as I can swap to a different case for long distance travel.

This things a tank for your phone! It’s easy to install and will protect your phone from a lot of wear and tear. I have had it for well over a month and been thankful every time an accident happened. Worth the price. Good investment for good protection

Worked good on initial trip. Took them off, put them in storage. Broke as I put them on the second time, replacement glass on the phone was too thick cause the cases to break when I torque down the screws..

I got this case for my husband, who works on heavy construction equipment. This case is a little heavier than most, but the protection it gives as well worth it. You do have to unscrew the frame to get the phone in, and then screw it back together. I guess that’s kind of the only downside, but the protection it has provided is worth it!

The case looks great; however, it came already screwed closed without the tool to open it. I know it may be an oversight, but nonetheless an important one to boot. It did come with four extra screws. Bonus.

I’ve had a good number of this style cases over the years: Pros- definitely shockproof, good finish, I like the fact that the back is just a rubber bar instead of a logo, case has little to no interference with Bluetooth/cell signal. Cons- Not waterproof (ear speaker piece is mesh, not plastic)… I’m not a big fan of the small chrome ring around the home button, but after having several of these cases, I understand why it’s there (adhesive that holds the touch-sensitive pad in breaks down over time and then they can come loose when cleaning). All that being said, I will likely buy this exact case again if I don’t replace my phone before I manage to trash this case.

The case is very heavy and cumbersome. The pictures looked great but once you have it on your phone the phone becomes too big to even put in your pocket. Also, I noticed moisture trapped under the screen protector, as well as signal strength reduced by 1/3. I do not recommend this product
