This one seemed good for the price. Everything came on time and as described and in good condition. There weren't any splits, cracks or warps. I got the plain version and stained and sealed it myself to match our other furniture. I felt it was pretty easy to put together except for getting the bolts lined up on both ends that go through the sides and into the seat and back support. But, after using screw drivers on the 3 other holes, it finally went through and we worked backwards from there.The only issue I have with it is, as I swing with my feet on the ground, the bottom board on the seat hits against my upper calf. Might just be me but if there was one less board on the seat as it curves a the bottom, it would allow my legs to bend under the seat. Again, may just be me but the swing itself is comfortable and sturdy. Cedar is a relatively light weight wood so the swing can easily be assembled and moved by one person. Doing all the hanging MIGHT require the extra hand. Little more complicated to get stain in between the slats but nothing a small brush wouldn't cure. Quality of construction is great considering the price which is less $ than any other swing of the same size.Yes i would buy again and recommend to others. Suggested purchases to go along with this swing are a set of commercial swing hangers and 4 @ 4" x 1/2" bolts w 4 washers and either 8@ 1/2" bolts to use to lock things down or 4@ 1/2" lock nuts.We purchased this swing because about 3 years ago i put up a pergola that we have used as a grape arbor, Recently i saw a pic of a sim pergola with a swing. Had a bit of a task to line up a couple of the bolt holes and was worried about trying to pound them through because of the softness of the wood (cedar). But if you're patient and careful, they go together fine. I'm not overly crazy about the way the chain is designed to hook to the swing. It rubs up against the arm rest, and although it's stationary, I'm concerned it will dig into the wood over time.We bought the unfinished version of this swing and ended up covering it with a clear oil based poly urethane. Put two coats on before I assembled the 4 pieces. It was kind of a pain because it's hard to catch all the drips on the back side from the side you're coating. Overall it turned out great. If I ever buy another one, I'd spend a few more dollars and buy the already stained and treated version of this swing.
