I was happy to pick these up here at a lower price than other locations. The wider 'foot' gives a more solid base when using a double stack of scaffolding - especially when you're climbing up 12 feet on the outside of the scaffolding!

Quick install with standard scaffold pins and the tension knobs to eliminate wobble are a plus. If you're using these on the job, one of those wide, low profile totes like those offered by Husky and Milwaukee's packout line would be great for storing these because they aren't stackable and will easily shift in transit. Quality is great and at 6ft or higher, the safety these provide, even on a flat surface, isn't debatable. These also match the pin holes on similar Werner scaffolds.

These fit well on my scaffold. I used them on a different brand of scaffold there are a lot of "Baker" style brands of scaffold on the market but they all seem to use a standard square frame, spacing of adjustment holes and 5" wheels. Product pictures are not clear that these are open on one side and slip over the scaffold legs. At first, I thought I had mixed up the legs because the tension handle on one was to the inside and the other to the outside. That is correct, all four are drilled the same. It would have been nice if the adjusting knobs were all to the inside of the frame. Easy to install. Easy to use, one of the wheel locks is so tight I have to use a pair of pliers to.release it, that is why the 4 rating.

I’m old school and still use the older but more reliable and well built Perry and Sonny brand scaffolds. I am doing a ceiling job where I needed some outriggers quickly. Purchasing the Perry brand is harder now and way more expensive. Especially with wheels. So, I bought these MetalTech outriggers with plans to modify them to fit my Sonny scaffold. Once I got them, I precisely measured the placement for drilling new holes. I’m used a Milwaukee 5/16, measured, marked and slowly drilled the holes exactly the same on all four. I purchased 8 new 5/16 wire lock pins and only used the included larger pins for the wheels. The 5/16 pins match the Sonny and Perry pin hole size. Got it on the job and set up and as an added bonus… the tried something I’ve wanted to do for yrs and turned these upside down and mounted them to the side of my scissor lift to use as a ledge to hold my main runners for the acoustic ceiling install. Very happy with this purchase!!!!

If you think you need outriggers, you probably need outriggers. I purchased these for stability whilst lifting timbers for wall plates. They provided much needed stability. Came well packaged and were easy to install.

Wow what a difference when these are installed

I used this outriggers to be able to stack 2 scaffolds on top of each other but added some bolts and nuts to the scaffold keep it from shaking.
