Very. However, for anyone who has long struggled to simultaneously walk 3 dogs, it is just an absolute miracle. It is not possible to accurately explain how this works but ... IT JUST DOES! Takes a minute to get used to and figure out how to twist/turn the device to untangle but, once you get the hang of it, it is is just genius. Have not had a major tangle that couldn't be corrected with a quick flip/twist/turn. It leaves one hand free, it prevents each dog from pulling on the other (as is the case with the dual dog tethers) and the dogs can all get their own space, go their own way, without tangled leashes. My 3 rarely walk well all the time but this makes it possible for me to walk them alone. 110lb, 80lb, and 60lb dogs. Only thing I’m thinking of trying bike tape or something for a little more grab when it’s warmer outside and hands get sweaty. Really like this. All our leashes are 1 inch width and I have no problem feeding them in the slots. Such a simple thing.
