Bootheel
A very readable book for ages 7 and up. I read this first for accuracy to give to my grandchildren at Easter. It is biblically accurate with inserts of history for interest. I highly recommend this book.

This book was so helpful to my 8 year old daughter. It's her favorite book. I would highly recommend.

Both my son and I enjoy this book
My 7 year old and I have been reading this book a chapter at a time and then I give him a little test(open-book) after to help him absorb the information. It is such an easy read that even I am learning things that I have read before in bibles, but I wasn’t able to absorb the information unfortunately. So I guess we’re both learning together.

They are easy to get through and informative
My son loves all the books in the Who Was/ What was series. They are easy to get through and informative. When I asked him to review it he gave it 4 stars. He goes to a Catholic school so already knows a lot about Jesus- maybe that is why he didn't find it as interesting/ didn't learn a lot that he didn't already know. When I asked him if it was still worth reading he said yes.

I created a study guide for this for our VBS and giving to each child. This is a quick synopsis of Jesus's life.

love this series
My children love these books they are written in a wonderful way that children can understand and it helps with questions they have about the world around them and past events. Its a great series for the curious adventurous child. We have several and by far amazon carries them for the best price we have found.
