How long should one filter last? Also does this fit the crosswave pet? I think they are the same aside from the brush itself, just want to verify.

They fit my crosswave pet. I clean filter & roller/brush well after use and replace with dry set, leaveing damp set to air dry .

Why when I use this kind only my machine will not suck up any water? Plus it has high pitched noise like filter is clogged.

Is the filter rinsed and dried thoroughly and are you making sure the filter is put in snugged ? Also, if you don't have the cup that collects the dirty water in correctly it will not suck up any water, as for the noise I can't answer why this is happening. Just make sure that all parts are put in correctly and you clean your machine every time you use it.
