I tried on 2 dell laptops, both which gave an error about an unrecognized charger, and an HP that didn't complain but also charged slowly.The voltage regulation as tested with a multimeter is decent, within range, but each voltage step is about half a volt higher than the charger states. Again, a non-issue. Load regulation at least with around 40w of load seems pretty good too. Have not tested the car charger adapter but it is probably about the same regulation wise.
