Is this cocktail shaker single-wall or double-wall? The Amazon description and the manufacturer description each say something different.

This one is just a single wall, but seals up well for shaking.

Just received this in the mail, the strainer is not attached to the cap. Should I exchange it or return it? I don't see how it should be attached.

The shaker should be three pieces. One is the actual cap that is the measuring device. If you hold the black section at the top and pull from the silver section just below it, it’ll pop off. The second part is the wide silver piece that goes over the actual cup and is below the cap. The second part is where the strainer is located. It should be a metal sheet with holes in it on the inside. The third part is the cup. If there is no strainer in the second part, then you should exchange it. It’s most likely a defect if it’s missing. It’s a really good mixing cup. It’s worth exchanging for a working one.

What is the stainless steel quality? (18/8, 304, etc.)

I have used this single wall shaker for two years and have found no dents or blemishes. The stainless steel quality is very good.
