The batteries last forever and you can add a lot of weight to this small gimbal. I wanted something smaller and less bulk when traveling, I can fit in my backpack.The quality of the finish and packaging was excellent. I had no problems setting it up. Everything comes with a very nice protective bag that makes transportation very easy. Just make sure you read the instruction first and set the Action camera correctly because if not, you may get your Action camera scratched if not balanced correctly.Very impressed and very happy with my purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fiddly, but does a good job. BUT FIDDLY!!! *by K***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 July 2019* This is a piece of equipment that I probably could have done without, as I have a Hero 7 (gimble killer), but I got it anyway - just for those moments when you really want a specific gimbal shot. The thing is, this gimbal is so fiddly to set-up that most of the time I don't bother with it. I have literally sweated with exertion trying to get my Gopro mounted to this thing, with its stupid, fiddly, awkward, impossible bracket that needs three hands to hold in place while tightening!!!! I love the look of it. It has a lovely comfortable grip. The battery is great. It gets great shots - even improving on the Hero 7's fabulous built-in stabilization. And I would probably use it all the time if I could simply snap the camera on and off it.BUT IT TAKES HALF AN HOUR OF STRUGGLING AND SWEARING TO GET THE CAMERA ATTACHED!!! GRRRRR!!!It stays in my camera bag, just in case. But mostly it is redundant and annoying. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good value gimbal *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 July 2019* The gimbal comes in a nice sturdy protective case that contains the gimble, its tripod mount and a usb charging cable. The gimbal fits in the hand well and does not feel heavy. Controls for controlling the camera position are well positioned for thumb control. I have used the gimbal with the GoPro Hero 3, Hero 3+, Hero 4 and Crosstour 4K. The gimbal performed well with all of the cameras.The gimbal is able to charge the cameras however some cameras need to be inverted when placed in the gimbal meaning that the charging port on the camera is up against the gimbal mount meaning charging is not possible.Fitting the camera is relatively simple and involves undoing two thumb screws that loosen a positioning bar, sliding the camera into place and then tightening the screws back up. The first few attempts were difficult as it was different for each camera but once it is clear how the camera will be held by the gimble it is a simple exercise.The gimble is able to be positioned on a table using a small tripod adapter that screws onto the bottom of the gimble. I found that this worked well and I was able to position it confidently on tables at a wedding reception.Some people have mentioned that they have picked up noise from the gimble motors on their cameras. I have not found this to be an issue so far as I am leaving room between my cameras and the motors. There is no detectable sound in my opinion.Walking with the gimble it proved to stabilize the shots very well. I did find that sometimes adjusting the position of the camera with the thumbstick was a little fast but this is just down to lack of experience on my part I think and it will improve over time.When I am not using the gimble my daughter uses it for her vlogging on her desk and while out and about. The battery life is good and has not let either of us down so far.
