Great Food - Confusing Branding
My 2 older cats have eaten pate their whole lives and my 2 younger ones eat dry but also have canned fish. That said, they all used to be on Wellness brand, but then we switched to Purina Beyond during the pandemic bc of price and availability. Since then, some flavors became unavailable and prices increased so we began our search for a new favorite in a similar price range. I didn't see these cans initially so I chose Weruva Slide and Serve pouches first. The gravy ones were well appreciated it but the pate pouches were hit and miss. Some were moist, while others were rubbery and sat untouched over night. So I when I saw the blue buffet (is that the name?) variety pack of cans, I decided to try it. So far, they've tried the Tuna & Duck, Tuna & Salmon, Tuna & Beef, and Tuna and Turkey and they have loved/devoured all of it! Even my younger boys who don't usually eat pate were digging in. My youngest male does not like the gravies which is weird because he's the one who used to love broths from another brand. But 3/4 cats love the gravies. One thing I was worried about is that I read a review on another site that stated Weruva's cans were hard to open and they needed tools to get into them. I had that experience with Reveal, which is why I'm no longer buying that brand. So I wasn't sure what to expect here, but these cans open up normally and easily, with minimal effort so I'm pleased. One other positive aspect is that when I open the pouches, I get the food/gravy/soup all over my fingers or the counter, but this doesn't happen with the cans. The texture of the food is like typical catfood pate, but there is clearly more moisture and it comes out of the can very easily. The only thing I really don't like about this brand is the packaging. It's too hard to tell what I'm buying and takes too long to read all the extras words on the can just to find out what I'm serving my cats. I know they want to be cute and come up with clever names but customers don't need all that, especially those of us over age 50 with ADHD and vision challenges. Give us a cute logo or image and then the name of the food. That's it. Remove all this other unnecessary crap from your packaging. This overly complicated labeling and packaging and different product lines kept me from purchasing your food for several years. Imagine how many other older people's money you've lost out on. I still don't even know what the difference is between CAts in the Kitchen and OMG, and whatever else is named... some are pouches, some are gravies... some are named after movies, others are named after appetizers... it's too damn confusing. Just put TUNA AND DUCK on the cant and use a larger text size so that if I don't have my glasses on, I can tell what I'm feeding my cats. And the yellow text on a white background? get rid of that. I can't read it. I have cataracts. I would love it if you would make your brands more user friendly and disability friendly. I would normally remove stars for something that upsets me this much, however, I gave your pouch pates a 1 star rating for the texture and how my cats won't eat them, and I mentioned all of this too so I'll leave the 5 star rating here because the quality/flavor of this food was preferred by my cats. But please do something about your chaotic labeling system.

Good Quality Food My Cat really Likes!
I recently adopted a cat from the shelter. He was living in a home with two other cats that were very mean to him. So, I took him in and found out from the previous owner (who did not want to surrender him) that he likes this brand specifically. She tried others while living with her. It is expensive. I make no bones about that. But, it is very good quality, too. My cat's diet is important to me. My previous two cats lived an average of 20 years. This is because I feed quality food. This is the pate. Funny how fussy cats can be. Some will not eat pate, while others only eat pate. My previous cat who lived until 21 preferred shreds.

Stinky but good ingredients. Best to buy when there is a deal going on.
Cats are indifferent to this pate. I like the ingredients in these but it sure does stink.

Worth it
Cat food normally stinks but this actually smells good—like roasted chicken. Cat absolutely loves this food. Grain free with good ingredients. Not cheap, even with subscription, but you get what you pay for. Our little old guy will only eat this and he’s worth it.

This variety box is a must try.
I feed my cats about 5-6 different brands because I don't want them getting bored on the same thing and some they do and they get out of the rotation. This brand always remains the staple of their meals. Its great that there are 6 different flavors, they love them all. Two of my cats easily can get sick but the have never gotten sick with this brand. They absolutely love it.

WET cat food is better for cats, no more crystals now.
Wet food is BEST for cats, always alwasy always. (Dry Kibble is wrong as a main part of cat nutrition. ) My vet insists that i feed my cat wet food, and this is the only brand my cat loves. My cat does get crystals in the urine and then cat can not void, it is AWFUL, so I can not feed my cat a very high protein cat food. Most cat foods, my cat can not pee, especially if it is dry kibble. Oh my cat loves kibble, but then, cat can not pee. but THIS food, and ONLY this food, is accepted by my cat AND the cat can still pee. FINALLY I found the right food. It has been 2 years now and no problems. I ran out of it once? and within 2 weeks, the cat could not pee again. I can not explain it, but this food saved my cat. My vet is thrilled. I have tried most brands, even brands that cost 2x what this brand costs, but my cat won't eat those. I am very happy with this brand of cat food and have recommended it to several others with finicky cats. My cat rotates her favorites flavor from time to time, but I am so happy to have a healthy well made WET cat food . My cat used to like the "cutie patootie" flavor of this brand's O.M.G. brand of weruva, which is a runny soupy pate that my cat likes a lot, but then my cat got into the "til then" pate flavor, which is a solid-er type of very smooth, no flakes, no chunks smooth pate. (my little diva former street cat can not abide any flakes or chunks, it must be smooth pate...) I very much appreciate that WEruva shows photos of how the cat food looks, THANK YOU. At this point, now my cat will eat almost every flavor of Weruva pate. I just rotate the flavors around to keep her happy. But has to be THIS brand for my fussy cat. (*sigh*. You can't make this stuff up.) My cat is currently back into the cutie patootie runny soupy pate again, which is GREAT for 2 reasons, More hydration for her AND i can "pour" it out without using a spoon. Yesss.
