The spiralizer is small enough to fit in your hand but really delivers in veggie noodles. I made veggie spaghetti the first night with a combination of zucchini and yellow squash noodles. Though many recipes recommend you don't cook the noodles, I heated mine by immersing them in boiling water for about 90 seconds and draining in a colander. Then I heaped on the sauce. Really good. And the funny thing was that it has a very similar gratification as regular pasta noodles. Without even trying I got about 2 cups of veggies in me (nice bonus because I just don't eat as many veggies as I should).Also the recipe book that they include (digital pdf) is quite nice with really pretty photographs and some very impressive recipes. Oh and the little cleaning brush really helps to work out the little strands that can catch in the blades.So for me, it was a nice addition to my kitchen tools and gadgets.
