Much better than standard crutches
Having the moulded, shaped hand grips makes these crutches so comfortable to use. Having knee surgery but with bad hands I couldn’t get on with ordinary crutches but these proved to be brilliant. Lightweight, strong, comfortable and not expensive. Perfect.

Not next day delivery
Delivery was a day late but actual crutches are decent. Comfortable to use and sturdy.

Just what I needed
Bought these when I ruptured my Achilles tendon. Light weight and easy to use with the shaped handles. Height adjustable too. Seem well made and solid. Reasonably priced too.

They are comfortable
Hi the crutches are great but we have a problem my autistc son Alex was messing around withe the crutches and pulled off one ot the grey bits that allow you to get the cruthes right size. Is there any chance you could send a replacement Barbara .

Love the handle.
First, they arrived a day early which I really appreciate. I went for the long version because I used to be 5ft 7in but due to osteoporosis I'm now 5ft 3in but inside leg is still 30inches. Tried 2 other types, 1 a folding which was a disaster from delivery on. Amazon were great and sorted it. Ordered a different set in a rush with open cuff and couldn't get on with them, added straps because I kept dropping them which just made then awkward to use. So got these. Arrived well packaged but not excessive. They appear very sturdy and the handle is perfect for me. They feel slightly heavier than the NHS type and that is probably due to the handle. It is super easy to adjust the height. I needed something to lean on if I'm having to walk or stand for any length of time and at first try they will do the job, the cuff is the same size as the NHS ones so gives that movement I was missing on the others. They don't rattle as some do but time will tell. There are a lot of comments about the rubber foot and I can see why, they are very rigged so the constant impact will take its toll, again time will tell. The price was very good compared to others and to be honest I'm not sure what paying more would get you so if I do need new feet I don't have a problem. They are very functional to look at but I will jazz them up with a cover. Looking forward to taking them on a test run outside.

Customised for the win
I went back and forth on these or some slightly more expensive crutches, I didn't want to get let down, literally, if they weren't up to the job. I shouldn't have worried, they're very sturdy, easy to set up l. I'm 5.7 and this size was perfect for me on the tallest setting with probably a little room for someone taller. My daughter is a head under me and could have used these too. The locking clips are very nice as opposed to popper patches that can sometimes vanish into the centre of the cane never to be see again. The grips are nice and comfortable the arm hoops could be a bit wider for when I'm in my oodie but I'm sure they will relax a bit. All in all they're nice, good low price for a mobility aid and certainly will help me get around. Have since customized them so they don't look so boring and NHS

Good sturdy crutches (long set).
Bought these recently as a support during occasional actute back problems. They seem very sturdy and are perfect for my needs. I know some folk have complained about the ferrules coming off or cracking, and the Left/Right symbols popping out. It's too early for me to comment on that but everything seems fine right now. I'll only be using them indoors so don't expect to have any problems. Having read the measurement instructions and despite not being tall, I bought the longer set as they were on specialoffer. I find them perfect for me.

Ok for the price, but mine are noisy.
Comfortable, but noisy. I’ve read some positive reviews but I’m not overly impressed. Day 1, I was enjoying them, but after a prolonged testing period, I’m not so happy. The handles have caps to indicate which is the left and which is the right stick. The cap for the right stick fell out in the 2nd day. Don’t know where it ended up but I now have a hole on the right side where the missing cap should be. They are easy to adjust and setup to the right length but the left stick clanks with every step - noisy and annoying. I don’t feel that these are heavy, they are functional, compared to others they seem reasonable value for money but I wonder if it’s worth paying more for a better quality pair?

I very much prefer the NHS crutches since they are much more useful than the open elbow types sold elsewhere: you can let go of the grip, yet they are always there if you need them: opening a door, for example, becomes much easier this way ... An additional important bonus is, that you can not only adjust the overall length but also the distance between grip and elbow support! One caveat, however: If you're over 6 foot (180 cm), you'll need to buy the L-size ...

Be careful on the size when ordering, These are good quality crutches but at 1m 82cm / 6ft the NORMAL are to low on max height
