This lens is NOWHERE near black.
While the box label says "smoked", and the sales image for the item is black, the REAL color of the lens is a hybrid between the deceitful black sales image, and the clear lens they offer. This is either a poor knockoff, or deliberate obfusication.The item actually works however, and I believe it would be the same "barely shaded from white" color from any other manufacturer.
