Survived the Australian Outback and NZ!
Pros: Lightweight, Compact, Durable, Reasonably priced, Inflatable pillow included, Convenient Carrying Case, Speedy Delivery Cons: Side sleeping isn't as comfortable as back or stomach sleeping I bought this in November and took it to Australia and New Zealand for the holidays. Generally, I use a hammock, but the spaces were a lot tighter than those in the US and places like the Outback had zero trees at the campground, so that wasn't an option. Since the fam was with me a tent was the way to go, but I needed a good mat that wouldn't take up a lot if space, and after a bit of searching I settled on HiHiker as I needed something to allow me to sleep on the floor of the tent. We camped for about 5 nights in total across AU and NZ and I was able to sleep comfortably all nights. The only trouble I had (not the mats fault) was a bit of sliding one of the nights we camped in a mountainous area and ended up on a sloped area in a crowded campground. The pillow makes a big difference by the way. Normally I'd stuff some clothes in a shirt or something to serve as a makeshift pillow to save space and weight, but this was a lot more comfortable. I usually sleep on my back, but found if I turned the pillow long ways I could comfortably pull off side sleeping as well. I'd highly recommend the HiHiker mat with included pillow for anyone in the market for a nice camping mat. Great value!

Great bang for your buck!
I bought this pad and pillow for a 3 night hiking trip to Crater Lake, Colorado. With all the new additions in gear that I needed to purchase for the trip, price was a huge consideration. I know that typically at sub $100 price points you trade size, weight, ease of use or comfort for money but after reading some reviews I thought this pad was worth a shot. At this price I was a little skeptical that the pad would be what I needed. First, let me start out by saying that the pad was surprisingly light weight and packs down rather small (about the size of a 32oz water bottle). This was a big deal for me seeing as I had to carry everything I needed for 4 days and 3 nights. It barley took up any real estate in my pack and with it being so light weight I barley even noticed it in my pack. Second, both the pad and the pillow were very easy to inflate. I didnโt time it but both filled quickly with minimal effort. Third, both pad and pillow were very comfortable. I am 5โ7 and about 170 pounds and the pad was more than I needed to keep me comfortable. I even do my fare share of side sleeping and the pad never bottomed out. After the 3 nights both deflated quickly and packed away easily into the carry sack that they both came in. I was highly satisfied with this product. Itโs nice when you think you are trading some conveniences for money and in the end, end up with exactly what you wanted and more money in your pocket.

Great starter set
I am just getting into hiking/backpacking, and this was my first purchase for a lightweight sleeping pad. I have no experience with other pads to compare this to, but here are my pros and cons: Pros: - Inexpensive (perfect for a newbie like me to start acquiring gear at a reasonable cost). - Comfortable: I felt well supported while sleeping on my back, and also when turning on my side. The pillow is contoured to keep your head centered in it. - Easy to inflate: Took me 11 breaths for the pad. - Lightweight and compact: Rolls up easy with the pillow into the provided sack. - Though rather narrow, I felt it did a good job of keeping me centered without sliding off. Cons: - A bit noisy- if you move around or turn onto your side you hear it loud and clear. - Slippery pillow- must be the material. I found the pillow wanted to slide off the pad quite a bit. Woke up several times to get the pillow back in order. Again, I have no other experience to relate this product to, but that being said I would happily purchase it again and recommend it as an inexpensive alternative to premium gear. I have only used it one night to this point, so I cannot speak to its long term durability. Perfect for newbies like me just getting started and not looking to spend top-dollar on equipment yet.

Very Satisfied on the Continental Divide...
This is a quality product. Well designed, light and compact. It was perfect for hiking the Continental Divide with my Son. We both had the cushion and pillow pair, and they were very comfortable, even on not-so flat ground. I was a little worried about having to inflate these above 10,000 ft, but it proved to be for naught since it takes very little effort to inflate, even the mattress. The one-way nozzle design is supreme. In a two-person tent, a pair nearly covers the entire floor. Durable as well. At 6'-225# the pad was quite long enough and sturdy enough to handle me bouncing and rolling on it. The price for this was a bargain for what you get. As a bonus, it includes its own patch kit. Best part is that I did not need to use it. One recommendation I would make for a purchaser is to make a lightweight cloth pillow case to keep the pillow from sliding on the pad, or just shove it into a T-shirt, like I did. I would buy this again, for certain, one for each of my family.

Good pad for the price
I bought this pad for a camping trip into Quetico Provincial Park, Canada. The area is rugged and without standardized camping spots (ie. soft, flat areas for tents). This means a sleeping pad is quite the luxury, and a lightweight pad is a must due to the need to carry everything in with you. The pad was quite comfortable when inflated. The problem is that possibly due to the cold, it does not hold air over a night. Maybe in warmer climates this would be fine, but anywhere that gets cool (below 60F) this thing will go flat. The pillow is a very nice addition as you do not need to pack a pillow. That did somehow stay inflated. I missed my return window so that one is on me. Overall, the pad was actually very nice to sleep on (pillow was great) but it just does not hold air. I am 6'3" tall, and weigh 225. Pad fit comfortably.

Love how compact and lightweight this is!
I am a side-sleeper, stomach sleeper, back sleeper...you name it, and I'm rolling around throughout the night trying to get comfortable. I therefore needed a sleeping pad that would provide comfort no matter what position I was sleeping in. I've used other mattress pads in the past and they are fine if I'm sleeping on my back, but not so comfortable for side-sleeping or sleeping on my stomach. This mattress pad provides a 2 inch cushion of air that allows me to be in whatever position I need to be and sleep comfortably. It rolls up super small and is lightweight. I LOVE that it came with a pillow (that was one of the reasons for me purchasing it). The pillow is also quite comfortable and both inflate quickly (the mattress pad only took about 12 breaths for me to inflate). My sleeping bag stayed on the pad for the most part with only a little slipping here and there. It's a little noisy when I turn from one position to another but it didn't seem to bother anyone else I was sleeping with and didn't keep me from getting sleep. I slept on it for 2 nights and did have to put a couple extra breaths into the pad before I slept on it the 2nd night, but the pad seemed to hold it's air very well. I'm super happy with this purchase and am looking forward to using it a couple more times this summer as we continue to camp.

very very thin material, tacky and crinkly, and not very warm or comfortable.
From the reviews, everyone made this out to be the best pad for it price. Obviously was coming from novices who havent tasted quality before. This pad is practically a garbage bag with a seal to blwo it up. Its very crinkly and flimsy. When fully blown its not very comfortable and is so thin it bunches up with a pad cover on it because of the bungee. This doesnt happen with any of my other pads. Also took like 15 strong breathes, where as most of mine blow up with 7-10 normal breathes. The insulation value is minimal for its 14.5 oz weight, so id estimate the value at R1 instead of R2. Definitely 100% not for weather under 50ยฐ F. The color in the image looks more of a darker green but when i got it, it looks like a dark lime which isnt a big deal honestly but its nice to get what you see. This pad is at the bottom of my list and will most likely return it after a field test on my expedition coming up. UPDATE: pillow was malfunctioned. It was as if they ironed on their logo and the pieces of the pillow fused together. I had to squeeze as hard as i could to separate it. I finally did and tried it out for about 10 mins before i deflated slowly into flat. Tried the pad and it was uncomfortable, you can feel the ground on all your pressure spots. You have to blow it up tight to not feel anything on the ground but youll feel the stiff bubble design digging into your back. This product was just disappointing in so many levels and am baffled that anyone rated it over 3 stars. But hey.. its lightweight. Thats a plus...

Very comfortable for a good price!
I was skeptical about purchasing this product because of the price and thought maybe it wasn't that great but I took my chances. I took it to go hunting for 4 nights and the weather was super cold in the mountains. This sleeping pad was great on those 4 nights, I didn't have a problem with it at all. I was comfortable all night and I wasn't even cold. The material is really thin that when you crawl onto it, your knees can feel the ground but as soon as you lay on it, it feels comfortable. Its very light! The pillow stayed inflated most of the night. In the morning I noticed that it deflated a little which was better for me cause I couldn't really sleep on it when it was fully inflated. They are both easy to inflate. This sleeping pad is great, especially for the price. I will be using it in the future!

Not self inflating or the pouch to air inflate
Not a self inflating one and doesn't contain the pouch to fill air and inflate. Not recommended
