My wife has her Smashing Pumpkins 4 LP box set in with other LPs and it opens and closes without any problems. **Q: Are these inside/interior measurements? need a case for an ampeg pf20t amplifire.** A: taking into account the curved corners and padding, conservatively it will fit somthing that is 13.5" W x 9.5" D x 12" H **Q: Is this waterproof or at least watertight?** A: I’m going to say it’s not waterproof and I’m sure it’s not watertight. **Q: Can I send it as luggage on a plane when i travel overseas?** A: I would not trust airlines care of this box in checked baggage. It does not hold as many albums as I thought it would. The lid is not hinged and attached and I wish it were. But, this case is very sturdy and well built. The case will definitely protect your vinyl records. I still have some albums that I need to store, but I think I may get something different. I am thinking of trying a clear display storage unit that would be easy to flip through to see the albums.
