Praxis II Social Studies (5081) Rapid Review Study Guide: Test Prep and Practice Questions for the Praxis 5081 Exam

If you learn everything in this book, including the concepts behind the terms introduced, you’ll definitely get a great score. That being said, the test itself is tricky because there are a lot of higher order thinking questions. However, the book gives you an idea of what concepts they may address. I’m ten years out of college, so it was perfect for me to review what they might cover on the test. I will say that the test seemed quite a bit more US History focused than the study guide, so if that is a weakness for you, you may need supplemental material.

I bought this book after failing the praxis II history exam. Bought this book and passed with ease the second time! It covers all of the most important content and breaks it down in a way that is easy to understand. Also includes two practice tests and so many helpful hints and practice questions! Thank you for helping me pass one of the most important tests in my college career.

The product, allowed me to review many historical facts and themes from my time in my history program. Along with this, the book is easy to read and explains key historical details well. The book includes two practice tests which have prepared me for my praxis exam. The product can be improved by allowing for more elaborate explanations in relation to economics and the exam. A background in history is needed to get the most out of this book.

This book helped me pass the PRAXIS exam with flying colors - I had failed it once before and by buying this book, going through the entire thing, doing the practice questions and the practice exams, I passed. If you are looking to pass the Social Studies Content Knowledge PRAXIS, I highly recommend this book! It was amazing. It was good for review and went over things I haven't touched on in years. It was so helpful!

My state requires the Social Studies Praxis 5086 for certification. Unfortunately, Cirrus does not have that review study guide available and the only ones I could locate were crazy expensive. I bought this version and was delighted to find it covered all the tested material and then some.

This book is great! No doubt I will pass the state test. This is a review, so some basic knowledge is required; I have a Sociology degree, just missing civics and economics. This book helped me with confidence, knowing I could pass.

Read through this book a week before the exam and pass the first try. Highly recommend.
