They are as accurate as the Accurites I use. Useful for ball python tubs/cages. I first wanted to determine how much variation in temperature there would be from unit to unit. Placing all 8 within inches of each other I found that the variation in temperature was less than one degree from unit to unit. This is pretty good for an inexpensive gauge, but would not be adequate if one was engaged in scientific work.
