They really are bar height. Perfect for our tall kitchen bar. The color is a true bright beige. They are beautiful and the quality looks really expensive. Everything was easy to put together, except the orientation of the legs, but once figured out it was easy. I had my husband really tighten everything as our kids will be sitting in them. They are sturdy/strong! I recommend and would buy again if needed. Love them!
