I am hooked on these awesome little mints. I keep them in my car, purse, and at home. I only eat the wintergreen ones. I love them!

These altoids have a slimy texture in the mouth and have a bitter taste. I suspected they were stale and did some research. These altoids were manufactured by Callard and Bowser. No date is stamped on the tin, but Callard and Bowser sold altoids to Kraft in 2004 and Kraft sold them to Mars/ Wrigley in 2008. The price on these were cheaper than what I pay for them at the grocery store or Walmart, now I know why. I would avoid buying altoids from this seller. Unfortunately, they are not eligible for refund, so I’m stuck with 12 tins of these nasty things. Update: I spoke with Amazon customer service and they refunded me in the form of an Amazon gift card. The rep. told me to dispose of the mints. In the process of dumping the mints in the trash can, I noticed rust spots inside of most of the tins. Definitely stay away from these! Update #2: My wife had ordered a 12 pack of the cinnamon altoids when she ordered the wintergreen. I was worried that these also would be stale and old. The Amazon driver brought them today and I could see and feel that there was only one tin when there should have been 12. I refused delivery and contacted Amazon customer service. I was told I would have a full refund within 24 hours. Seriously, stay away from this seller!!! I love altoids and will continue to buy them, but only at the grocery stores or Walmart.
