Great Product, came fast and well packaged heavy duty great quality
1994 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado 4x4 5 Speed Manual, Perfect fit My husband and I were able to get the new one on no issues, I appreciate finding great quality parts at affordable prices, My truck is almost 30 years old and seems like the prices for parts just keep going up, I need a lot of work done and have completed a lot of work from using sellers on Amazon for my parts. I appreciate the price and product!

Exact fit for 2003 Chevy Silverado LT1500
This CV axle is an exact fit for the 2003 Chevrolet LT1500 4.8L V8. I’m sure it works for several year models, but this one is mine. There are excellent removal/installation videos on YouTube. You can take the old one off by simply removing the tire and, using an extension and impact rated socket, remove the old unit. It took almost as long to get the tire off and back on as it did to swap the axle if you’re using impact tools. This CV axle addresses the click and grease leakage common in an axle that’s going bad. Performance is to be determined, as I’ve only put about 100 miles on the truck since replacement, but torque everything down to specs (German torque specs don’t count) and you should be good to go. Price was better than local parts houses even though it’s the same brand I’ve seen them carry. Would recommend.

Well...the first one got a bulge fairly quickly, 2nd one, a month later it broke...
So, I have a 07 Suburban LTZ that needed a new CV drive axle on the driver side. Now, as for install, if you're a mechanically inclined, handy DIYer, than its fairly straight up. Now you DO have to remove the swaybar linkage to make your life easier. So I installed this roughly about 2 weeks and under a 100 miles ago. Fast forward to a few days ago when I was installing new brakes and rotors. I turned the hub forward and reverse and noticed the bulge. I rotated forward a little and it seemed to go away but why not get a new one if it's under warranty? I put everything back together and took it for a ride. No grinding, humming or any other familiar sounds. It "seems" to be fine but better safe than sorry. So I immediately contacted Amazon and they shipped another one out that day. Got it in the mail today which I'm very pleased about. I'm going to update when I install the new one. EDIT; 4 days after I got the replacement. (#dadlife) Since everything was nice and lubed with antiseize,it only took a good hour and some change to switch the drive axles out. Now to return the other one. 2nd EDIT; a month and a half after first replacement: Yesterday (Nov 20th, 2021), I get in my Suburban with the family and head out. I notice a slight rumble and vibration coming from under the driver side. I pull over a mile later after it getting significantly worse and notice THIS. The inboard portion of the drive axle was TOTALLY disconnected from the sealed mount. You see the pix. This is our family, weekend vehicle. DEFINITELY less than 500 miles and a month and half in on the second axle from Cardone and I AM VERY UPSET. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!

Works good , no antilock ring
I was good quality so I used it and unplugged the antilock until I can find a outer joint with a ring to put on it

Great product/Quality
Purchased for a 2005 Chevy Suburban 4x4. I tried to find out which company manufactured ACDelco CV Axles but had no luck. Cardone’s boot design was superior to other aftermarket companies. Installation was straight forward. Remove sway bar links, remove axle hardware, remove axle. Replace parts, torque it up, test drive. Total time was 1.5 hours with clean up. I would recommend using your impact wrench. Still doable without one but huge time saver. No issues with shipping. Yes, the box that the boxes were in had a rough go but not the stuff I was reading on these reviews. The box the axle is in has adequate packing material and was secure in a heavy duty box. Both axles are combined in another box that isn’t heavy duty.

Came nicely packaged, not leaking or damaged. The nut and spindle thread are exact OEM, as opposed to other brands I've used that have a different thread and larger nut. Hopefully it lasts as long as OEM.
