Larger numbers, displays time, indoor and outdoor temps. Tracks and displays high and low temps.
This is my _favorite_ battery powered time and temperature station. I've ordered two more in August '25; one to measure two new locations and another for my sister. The time and current temperatures (inside and outside) are displayed in large numbers. It also senses changes in barometric pressure and will display an image of a sun in a clear sky or with increasingly more clouds blocking the sun depending on how much the pressure has dropped. I really like that it tracks and displays in smaller numbers the highest and lowest temperatures from midnight to midnight. At midnight it erases the high/low numbers and starts over. You can toggle the display to either Farenheight or Celcius values at any time with the press of a button on the back. I can attest that the outdoor sensor doesn't like to be immersed in water. I'm trying to dry one out now. Not certain that I rescued it soon enough. The display unit takes three AA batteries. The outdoor sensor takes two AA batteries. I've used rechargable batteries in the past, but they don't last long enough for me. Out of laziness, I use non-rechargable batteries to get longer times between needing to change them. The display will be difficult to read from extreme angles, but easily read at less extreme angles.

Nice features and size, great accuracy
I looked at several mini weather stations, and this offered the best blend of features and size. It's not fully-featured with regard to measurements, offering only the basics (time, inside/outside temp, day/date and forecast). But the size is such that all the data are readable from a few feet away, making it perfect to hang on the wall. Others I've tried had so much info that you could only read it if you were very close to the unit (and even then some were hard to read). No legibility problems with this whatsoever. Zero problems with set-up, with the remote unit transmitting to the main unit within a few moments of putting in the batteries. It also provides a signal strength meter for both the outside sensor and the atomic clock, so you can try out various positions to see which gives the best signal path. I positioned the outside sensor about 50 feet away without any loss of signal strength. Temperature accuracy is spot-on. The min/max feature is very useful. I wish it offered humidity readings as well, but can live without that to keep the screen uncluttered and easy to read. The forecasting feature is pretty accurate. It misses now and again, but for the most part, it provides an accurate (if only a general) forecast of what will occur over the next 12 to 24 hours. Much more accurate than similar forecasting devices I've used from La Crosse. My only complaint is with the external sensor. It uses 4 rather tiny screws that have to be removed/replaced to change out the battery. You have to do this with care using the right size screwdriver or you'll strip the screws. Also, the mounting options for the sensor are limited (just a keyhole type hanger). The one good thing about the La Crosse units is that the external sensor comes with a better hanger and an easier to open battery compartment. Those quibbles aside, this is an excellent, easily legible unit that is highly recommended.

Great Display But So-So Accuracy
I bought this Acurite 75077 from Amazon Warehouse. It was in perfect condition, but is 2 degrees Fahrenheit low inside. This is actually in the specification sheet +/- 2 F. I suspect this is why it was returned. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it. PROS: Great display. I can see it from across the room. Not backlit, but LCD works in most lighting settings. Having high/low readings is nicer than the entry level indoor/outdoor thermometers. I like the neutral tan colors. CONS: I would expect better accuracy. I used 3 bulb thermometers that all sync with each other to obtain a reference temperature. The outdoor sensor was right on, while the indoor was consistently 2 degrees cooler than actual. Not enough for me to return it, but a little annoying to mentally adjust every time I read it. The weather forecaster is less useful than standing in the backyard. However, when it says rain, I suspect the barometer just dropped. It does not tell us how it comes up with it's predictions, but I suspect a hidden barometer. Mostly, it's just a sun/cloud picture I ignore. SUMMARY: I like this indoor/outdoor thermometer with highs and lows recorded. The inaccuracy isn't a deal killer. My warehouse price made it attractive. -1 star for inaccuracy. I expected nothing from the weather predictor and that's what I got. I'd recommend it for a friend who doesn't want a weather station.

Love these wireless weather stations.
I bought 2 of these to replace my Lacrosse Weather Direct stations that Lacrosse decided to no longer support with updated weather forecasts. The AcuRite 75077 Weather Stations provide the indoor and outdoor temperature and give a forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours. I liked the first 2 so much that I bought 2 more. I have all four of these weather stations connected to a single transmitter so I get the same outdoor temperature from several different rooms in the house. I've had 2 problems that were easy to correct. (1) One of the stations had a little difficulty connecting to the NIST to update the current time and date. After pressing the button on the back to make the connection, I had to temporarily relocate the clock so it would pick up the signal. After that, no more problems. (2) Another of the clocks picked up the wrong outdoor temperature. To fix it, I switched the A-B-C switch to a non-existent transmitter, then switch it back to the A position. It immediately picked up the correct outdoor temperature. To ensure correct outdoor transmitter temperatures and to get the longest battery life on the clocks, I installed lithium AA batteries on all the devices. Note that I still have 3 outdoor temperature transmitters that are not in use that I am keeping as backups in case a problem develops with the single transmitter currently installed. The indoor units are easily readable (if not dark) and have nice big lettering.

Weather Station Tells Time and the Day and Date.
This weather station arrived quickly and in good condition. It would have seemed to make more sense to place the plastic air bag below the weather station box (when the label is facing up), but it arrived fine just the same. I really wanted a device for the outdoor and indoor temperture as wel as the day and date and indoor temperture which this unit does very well. With so much screen space the information could have been designed a bit larger, but this works fine for my needs. This unit also "predicts" the upcoming weather with various graphics (rain, sun, snow, etc.). Similar models in the stores cost $20 more, when they had something in stock that was similar. I researched this unit a fair amount both in person and online. This unit uses black letter/numbers against a gray background and is powered by AA batteries ONLY. There is no power adaptor to plug in. I hang mine on the wall but there is a swing out stand available on the back of the unit to display on a table. The buttons on the back are easy to access without opening the back of the unit. The buttons are NOT recessed like my previous unit from another manufacturer. (Why make the buttons hard to press everytime you have to replace the batteries?) These setup buttons are both raised and nice and wide for a finger, and are easy to press. Four buttons adjust the settings, up, down and Temp F/C. This review is for the AcuRite Model 75077A3. I would buy again.

A Not-so-accurate Acurite useless piece of crap
I purchased this unit to replace an old Acurite, I'd guess, over 12 year old model, which had the same basic functions. The older unit was very reliable and it came with a rectangular outdoor unit which finally succumbed to the elements. The only reason I gave this one 2 stars is because the indoor temperature reading is fairly accurate. The outdoor reading is usually off by 2 to 8 degrees higher than the actual temperature, and the warmer it gets outdoors the more inaccurate the reading. The company's customer service is terrible! When you call the 877 customer support number, a recording directs you to their web site to engage in a 'chat'. I got on the chat and had 7 people ahead of me and ended up waiting over an hour! Then the rep sends me a link to a troubleshooting procedure. All simplistic time wasting things such as removing the batteries, resetting the units, trying other channels, etc, etc. So after running through the steps I gave it a few days but still the same problem of high readings outdoors. Responding to customer service's e-mail I made a warranty claim and they are sending me a replacement part. (I assume the outdoor sensor). If that doesn't work, it's going back to Amazon. It’s been a couple of weeks since my warranty claim and they sent me a new outdoor sensor. So I tried it and got erroneous readings exactly like the original one...off and usually higher than the actual temperature outside. Went back to Amazon today. Don’t waste your money on this unit.

I gave it three stars because the product is a great idea and almost worked out for me
Although I'm returning the Acurite 75077 Wireless Weather Forecaster, I gave it three stars because the product is a great idea and almost worked out for me. I'm taking the trouble to write a review because I had two problems with it that might be a concern for some people. 1. Both the indoor and outdoor temperatures read 2 degrees higher than the two Acurite thermometers I own. The good news is that it seemed to be pretty consistent. I checked it 20 times over five days. I got a couple of readings that were 1.5 and one degree high but all the rest were a solid two degrees. If there were a way to calibrate the device this problem might have been acceptable. 2. This device is very hard to read. The photo shown in the Amazon listing is accurate IF you position the device in exactly the right position in relation to a light source and your eyes. Unfortunately, that is very hard to do. For instance, I found it impossible to put it ANYWHERE on my rather huge desk/workstation area where I could read it. And no matter where I put it I could not simply turn and look at it to read the time or temp or date. I had to get up and grab it and twist and turn it to read it clearly. For me, this was the deal killer. Other than that it seems to work as described.

Excelente relación producto-precio.
Soy fan de la marca. Adquirí este producto ya que el anterior falló después de 12 años. Hasta hoy todo bien, solo un día de uso, muy legible el display y el pronóstico de lluvia fue acertado.

Does what it’s designed for.
I’ve had this Brand of weather station previously. They are a quality product, It seems to forecast the weather fairly accurately, comparing it to an outside thermometer I have. The Atomic clock though, doesn’t work here in Australia, but keeps accurate time. I would certainly recommend this weather station for it’s price point.

An excellent piece of kit.
The AcuRite 75077A3M Self-Learning Forecast Wireless Weather Station has a high quality feel and looks very attractive. It was easy to set up and on comparing it with other thermometers it is very accurate for both outdoor and indoor temperatures. It wasn’t possible to set it to the UK atomic clock, but it does still keep time very accurately. It would have been helpful to be able to adjust the brightness of the display as I find it a little dim but I probably myself prefer very bright displays. I can’t really fault this Weather Station, it’s excellent all round.
