Tips for smoothie grand masters
Use it daily and love it. Here are some tips: For longevity, buy a new blade for 7.99 periodically. They sell them here on amazon. You'll notice a lot less noise and less stress on the motor and faster blending. The blade screw lid is also where these leak after awhile.. So replace it. Make sure you dont break the interlocking plastic tabs off the cup when turning it on. If it doesnt seat, pick the cup up and turn the little rubber spinning wheel on the blender and try ti reseat the cup again. If you use force it will break the tabs like I've done. Not to fear, you can also buy the replacement plastic blender cup on amazon for cheap. Might as well upgrade to the larger cup for a few more ounces while youre at it. Nutribullet pairs extremely well with blender bottles. Pour your smoothies directly into the blender bottles and screw the lid on. Shake it periodically, before you drink to shake the contents that have settled. Blender bottles are also great because you'll never get smoothie on your face when drinking like i often did drinking from the plastic cup or from a glass. Blender bottles should come standard with the nutri bullet... It changed my smoothie game! Don't get diabetes. People load these up with fruit and give themselves a huge glucose spike which is actaully really bad for you. You should aim to mostly use vegetables and a protien or carb and only add enough sugar for taste. Frozen mixed berries and strawberries work really well opposed to fruit found in the produce section that spoil in a few days. You'll have much less waste using frozen berries. To clean the blender, after pouring your smoothie into a blender bottle or glass, put a cup of of water back into the cup and run the blender for for 5 seconds. This will dislodge your smoothie from the blades and the sides of the blender cup. Pour this watery mix into your blender bottle and shake shake shake it baby. When you're done making a smoothie you'll want to drink it and forget about washing the blade and cup... Don't do that. Run the cup under your faucet for a few seconds to dislodge the smoothie so it doesnt harden. Same for the blade. Grab the under side of the blade and spin it while spraying it woth water from the faucet as to dislodge all the bits of smoothie from the different angles on the blade. Back to blender bottles, buy one size larger then the capacity of your nutri bullet as to fit all you're smoothie and also have a bit of room to shake shake shake it. In this lesson, you have learned how to replace commin maintenance parts, how to uograde your nutribullet capacity, how to change youre smoothie game level by using blender bottles, how to easily clean your nutri bullet and how to make a smoothie without spiking your blood glucose levels. Awesome
A little more than a month into this, and now it's time to leave feedback. I love it! At first I was a bit skeptical about the claims of weight loss, but wanted to believe them. Now I do. I only use it once a day, to replace my usual Ramen soup with potato chips lunch. Here's what is happening...my big fat stomach, which quite honestly was the first part of me to hit any wall I walked into is shrinking. My rings are getting a little large, AND, most amazing, IMO, is that the swelling in my knuckles has subsided by at least 75%. Favorite lunch is tomato soup with a whole bunch of vegies added: Kale, cabbage, celery, tomato, onion, carrot, beet, maybe a bit of red bell pepper, and some raw chia seeds. Depending on the proportions of each, it can taste a bit different from one day to the next. I've also ground up vegies and added them to spaghetti sauce. Apple, raw cranberries, frozen strawberries, and frozen raspberries make a tasty fruit smoothie. I've used the milling blade to grind up cashews and almonds. Does a great job! Only experienced one leaking episode, and that was my fault when I didn't tighten the blade part enough. One issue I've seen others speak of, and which happened a few times to me was having the inner (rubber? silicone?) seal loosen. Well, it hasn't happened since I figured out that maybe it was because it, and the lip of the plastic grinding cup, were dry, which would cause enough friction to loosen the seal. So now before grinding, I run a damp finger around the top rim of the grinding cup and then attach the blade part. No more problems with the seal coming out. Hubby's doctor told him he needed to eat more vegetables. This is the perfect way to get them, especially for older people who may have chewing issues. Raw vegies are great, but let's face it...when you have dentures, it's not easy to chew them, and cooking them to the point where they're chewable often turns them into a disgusting, tasteless, discolored mush. Anyway, like others have said, cleanup is a breeze. A quick rinse in soapy water, and you're done. Would highly recommend!

Life changer for a fat guy.
I am midwest through and through. I have fought all matter of autoimmune diseases and obesity my whole life. While doctors have looked at the cholesterol, high blood pressure, and thyroid issues, in the back of my mind my whole life I have known the issue. Deep down I have always known regardless of what a Doctor or anyone else says, the issue is I simply do not eat right. First, I hate fruit. Oh, I like jellies, jams, pie, and juice, but as far as pealing an orange or popping a strawberry, I just can't do it. I never have been. Too tart and the texture is YUCK! Some of the "leafy greens" that these diets recommend are eaten in such quantities that there is no way I could get my fair share of roast beef and mac n cheese while eating right, ya know? But through life I have discovered I can drink just about anything. So with that, my wife and I gave the nutribullet a spin. I am 46 and, after diets, exercise, etc; i am ready to tell you this thing is a life changer. PERIOD. LIFE CHANGER! So what does a fat guy that likes to eat do with this thing? Well, at the store they have something in the salad area called a "Wellness blend" of Kale, spinach, and a few other greens I can't pronounce. I take these and fill half way up the large cup, as directed. Then I take a banana, an orange, or maybe an apple on a given day, some blueberries, strawberries, other berries, etc, a handful of almonds, and whatever peaks my interest, filling up to the line, maybe a tick over on the solids. Then I squirt in some honey and fill to the "MAX" line with almond milk, water, or some form of fruit juice like apple or whatever. Fire up the bullet and this mix, which I could never hope to eat because of taste, texture, and quantity, gets turned into this wonderful thick shake. The first one I made looked like vomit. I used so many almonds and apple juice that the color was way off, ew! Then the test. I drank it. OMG, it was WONDERFUL!!! So I play with mixtures and ingredients but the above is a pretty good start. When I get home from work, the first thing I do is whip up another shake. Doing this, i can eat whatever I want for dinner with the family but I don't find myself eating nearly as much. I actually eat what the FDA recommends as a normal portion of whatever we have rather than overeating for a filling and therapeutic experience. A lot of the day to day pain I go through as well as autoimmune disorders and even allergies have been reduced or eliminated because of this product. I am losing weight and inches around the waist and the ONLY change has been the bullet. This device goes to prove what I always felt was true; that we are not a country of obesity so much as malnutrition. The FDA's recommendation for fresh fruits and veggies is very high, so high that most do not even come close to eating it. Furthermore, the convenience factor has people drinking V8 juice or whatever and thinking that pasteurized stuff does the same thing; it does not. If one buys this unit and literally leaves it on the counter, plugged in and ready to go, and uses it religiously, their quality of life will improve. It's that simple I have failed at diets and exercise all my life and to some effect I still do. BUT this thing, this wonderful device attacks a major root cause of all of my issues, malnutrition, and it attacks it in the most simplistic and direct way possible. Just buy one!

I'm In Love With The Nutribullet 600!
Wow! First of all the price was unbelievably low. I paid $68 for a brand new Nutribullet 600. I ordered it on Tuesday, June 2 and it arrived on Thursday, June 4. How is that even possible? I've had a Breville Compact Juicer for over a year but don't use it anymore because every time I juice I need a shower afterwards. Pieces of veggies fly out of the shoot and end up in my hair, on my clothes and all over my kitchen. On top of that it takes about 15 minutes to clean. The cup is filled with foam after juicing and it's extremely expensive to use because it takes so many veggies to make a full glass. I have some health issues to reverse and a bunch of weight to lose and after seeing an infomercial for the Nutribullet one night I decided to do some research and check out some youtube videos. Because I was able to find the Nutribullet 600 for such a low price and because many reviews and videos mentioned that there's very little difference between the 600 series and the 900 series I decided to buy the 600. The Nutribullet I received has the new blade so hopefully I won't have the rusting and leaking issues I read about in earlier reviews. In fact, one of the youtube videos shows the old blade and new blade next to each other so I know I received the upgraded version. My first smoothie, or Nutriblast wasn't great because I used too many greens and not enough fruit. Except for that making the smoothie and cleaning up was flawless. For tonight's smoothie I used the smaller cup and a different blend of ingredients and it was much better. I used too much liquid tonight so it wasn't as creamy as I would have liked. I see this is a matter of mastering the recipes, like preparing any other meal, I bought the extended warranty offered by Amazon for only $5. It's much more expensive on the Nutribullet website. I think I'm going to love this little workhorse. I have a fridge full of organic fruit and organic veggies and I hope by this time next week I can update this review with a glowing report of better health and more energy. ** Update: Very happy to report this unit is working flawlessly! Tonight I made the most delicious smoothy ever using frozen organic blueberries, frozen organic strawberries, organic baby spinach, Barleans flax oil, organic vanilla yogurt, almond milk (couldn't find organic). So incredibly delicious and easy. I called Nutribullet Tech Support to get some guidance about the rust issues other people have been reporting. Spoke to an incredible support tech named Michael. He explained to me that all appliances of this kind contain lubricating oil to keep the gears running smoothly. If the unit is damaged because of misuse the oil can leak from the section housing it. If the unit is not damaged the section containing the lubricating oil should remain intact. He explained that sometimes people don't know they damaged the unit because it continues working. He suggested changing the blade every 6 months as a precaution. Hope this helps.

Excellent but....
Okay. It's true. This blender is excellent. Nutri Bullet stated that it can blend fruits and veggies into liquid without losing the beneficial fiber and all of the other precious constituents. They didn't lie. Is it convenient? Yes it is. Is clean up a breeze? Yes it is. Is it the perfect size for a counter-top that has a 4-inch chopping block sitting on it? Well, yes it is. Are the accessories necessary? Indeed. Is the quality comparable to the the price? That and then some. Is it affordable enough to own two--one for the office and one for the home? Why, indeed. And if I didn't work from home, I would have done just that. So yes. I like the Nutri Bullet. I was going to invest in a Vita Mix; but it seems ridiculous, as it is just me (and my guy when he wants one). I ordered a couple of extra cups from Nutri Bullet's website to cover visiting guests or when I am too trifling to wash out the first cup for a second smoothie. (I can be like that at times.) Then why only 4 stars? The cup and the extractor blade were obviously designed by a man. Sorry. It is much too wide to fit my hand. Either that or my hands must be really small. I asked around and everyone agrees. My hands are average size for a woman. However, whenever I blend one of my cold delicious smoothies, I have to fight to unscrew the blade. The outside of the blade and the cup are smooth. So not only is there no grip but it is much too wide. Plus, my fingers always hits the protruding pieces on the cup, which is painful. I have another blender that has a blending cup. The blade is only about 2.5 inches in diameter and has outer grips that extends all the way down. It fits perfectly into my hand, making it easy to unscrew. Whereas, the blade on the Nutri Bullet is approximately 4-inches. That is almost twice the size. Redesigning the cup by making the cup slightly taller and narrower, and a blade and base to accommodate it would eliminate this problem. Hope to see a better design in the near future. After all, what good is a fabulous extractor if you cannot drink the extraction? Other than that, the Nutri Bullet is a great buy and despite my issues with the design, I have already recommended it to 3 other people (men) who have already purchased one for their households.

Great quality blender!
Dear potential buyers, The NutriBullet is a high-quality blender that will last. My brother has had his NutriBullet for a couple years and loved it; so, I finally purchased this two months ago, in December. My experience with this blender, so far, has been nothing other than great. A few premium assets that come with this NutriBullet are 2 different blades, lids, a pocket nutritionist, a cookbook, and more. If you live active, busy, healthy lifestyle or you like to be adventurous in the kitchen, then this blender is perfect for you. You can whip up a smoothie, grab a lid, and bring it on the go wherever you go. What's great is that if you are new to taking on a healthy lifestyle and are unsure how to use your blender or what to put in it, the cookbook provides a ton of great recipes that have been tested and approved. Issues that I have had in the past with blenders is the texture of the smoothie that I am left with. When I would put spinach and berries into a smoothie I would be left with a gritty and seedy smoothie which was not too pleasant to drink. With the NutriBullet, I have not had any issues with the texture of my smoothies. The blades of the NutriBullet breakdown all of the components in my smoothie, creating a smooth and creamy texture. This blender is not just for smoothies. You can do so much more than that. Get creative and use your NutriBullet to make your own pasta sauces, ice cream, almond milk, hummus, nut butter, and even guacamole. Making these things with the NutriBullet saves you time because of its high-speed blending capabilities and also saves you time due to minimal cleanup. Normally if you were to make guacamole you would be using a couple different utensils, cutting boards, and bowls; however, when you use the NutriBullet to make your guacamole, you are only using one single utensil. No need for chopping and prepping your ingredients before, just toss it all in the NutriBullet and let it do it's thing. Once the guacamole is done, all you have left to do is to clean the NutriBullet cup and blade! It's so simple and convenient. So, if you are debating on what blender to buy for the best deal and quality, I couldn't recommend the NutriBullet more. It really does it all! Sincerely, Hannah

Everyone Needs This!
My husband and I were doing the Whole30 and decided to try the NB as a way of eating more veggies and fruits and I can't say how much I love this thing. I hate dark leafy greens like spinach and kale etc. but I was willing to give it a try albeit with a massive dose of skeptisicm. I honestly couldn't even tell it was in there when I was done making my first smoothie. I'm one of those people who buys fresh fruit with good intentions (grapes are a prime example) and end up throwing them out three weeks later when I find them disintegrating at the back of the crisper drawer. No more! Now I get them home, peel, chop, wash and pop them in the freezer in easy to get to bags for use in my smoothies. Sometimes I will do the berries and sometimes I will do a tropical one with pineapple, banana and orange segments, maybe melon, a handful of red grapes in whichever flavor I'm trying - every one with kale, spinach, carrots and any other veggie I need to disguise beyond recognition. I am so hooked that if my NB broke I would have to go out that very day and purchase a replacement. I wondered how they'd be if I took one to work to drink after my lunch break speed walk on the treadmill. Using one of the stainless steel, double wall, vacuum insulated drink holders from such as HydroFlask or Healthy Human and a few other sellers on Amazon, I made a smoothie at 7:30am and didn't drink it until 2pm. I did put it in the fridge as soon as I got to work and when I retrieved it, with some trepidation, found it was as good as if I'd just made it. I now take one every day as an afternoon treat (yes that includes kale in a sentence describing a treat!). The milling blade works great too. I have used it to mill chia seeds and various nuts which end up in powder form and perfect as a smoothie booster. And last but not least - this thing is amazingly quick and easy to clean. It takes little more than a rinse, two pieces; the lid and the cup and your're done. No awkward tops, bowls and blades to take apart and wash carefully as if one false move will result in a trip to the ER. The whole unit has only a tiny footprint on your counter and every inch is worth the real estate. I have had no issues with leaking or anything else. I screw the lid on properly and don't fill it past the max line as per the instructions. After washing and rinsing I dry it and place it ready for the next one which won't be too far into the future :) If you want to eat more fruit and veggies this is an excellent way to do it - it works great for me every single day.

Good blender, easy to use with different attachments
It’s a easy to use blender for making fruity drinks. I use to make different kinds of fruit drinks and it does a great job in blending the fruit fibers. When I use it to make pina colada, it even blend the core of the pineapple to get all the nutrients of the pineapple out and it works well blending the fruit fibers into the drink. The only drawback is that the rubber O-ring sealer doesn’t stay in place and comes off easily. As it doesn’t seal off the liquid well when you put the canister upside down and you have to tighten it very hard to keep it sealed. Finally the rubber O-ring came off and I used it without the O-ring, and it works fine without any leaks. It’s easy to clean, all I need is to rinse it off with water and and fruit residual doesn’t stick to it and come off easily. One feature I would like to have is that if it has different blending speeds, then it would be much better. It only has one speed, so I basically have to pulse it to control the speed and stop it momentarily to let the bigger chunks fall down to the bottom for the blades to blend them. Otherwise it continues to blend the finer fruit fibers leaving the thicker fruit fibers unblended. Or sometimes, if you put ice cubes in it, it leaves some bigger ice cubes unblended. So you have to watch how it blends and pulse it in order to mix the ingredients more thoroughly. All in all, it’s a good blender to make fruit juicer with different attachments for it. Maybe if it comes with an extra replacement plastic O-ring, it would be nice so that if the O-ring broke, you would have a replacement rather than having to re-order just the O-ring, which can wear out easily or get tangled in the blades when it comes off from the base of the blender canister cup ring sealer. The noisy level is similar to other blender, it’s loud, but not too loud that drives you crazy. Do they make muffler and sound absorber for them? The engineers would work on it, or use a direct-drive motor or a torque motor, with gradually increasing speed rather than one single speed that makes loud noise. It may actually work better with a variable speed motor that increases and decreases speeds in a control fashion like some of the good quality centrifuge motors. It would then make a soothing noise that is less annoying.

Makes great smoothies
Because I received a nutri bullet as a gift 20 years ago and it just started to wear down I decided it was well worth the money to buy a new one before it broke down completely. I love it for my smoothies in the morning and have never had any problems with cleaning or using it. Blends everything perfectly.

Clean up is awesome. Very very sharp blades so be careful
use it all the time for fruit shakes, and smoothies, the mill attachment grinds nuts to a powder texture. I can't believe how well it pulvirizes greens and fruits with the skin on them to a full liquid state. No big chunks. Very very powerful for a small machine that I can still tuck away in a small cabinet or leave on the counter without taking lots of space. Clean up is awesome. Very very sharp blades so be careful.
