It may have occurred as part of a customs check but its unclear what may have occurred prior to its delivery. Since this was a present for our 3yr old for Christmas, we contacted the company to explain the situation. In particular, we were unsure whether the item shipped may have been an inadvertent return/used item sent to us when we ordered a new one. The response was immediate from a member of the Tegu team, Brandon. Brandon was extremely helpful and understanding. Brandon was able to come up with multiple options for us in resolving the issue. Brandon's response time/replies were immediate and professional. Brandon worked with other Tegu team members to get another item out to us that we were able to gift for Christmas. This was all within 24 hours of the initial contact during the busy holiday season. We were extremely surprised by the high level of customer service and how Tegu went above and beyond to ensure satisfaction and that our little one would enjoy opening the present in time.
