Really dim, flashing like a strobe light and really bright and making said noise... so they got taken back out straight away.. gonna go back to halogen.. i know they cost more to run but i feel there a lot safer than "dimmable" led's.... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These work well enough for dimming, although I needed ... *by K***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 December 2017* These work well enough for dimming, although I needed to change my old switch and buy a trailing-edge dimmer switch suitable for LEDs. These bulbs are very bright at 400 lumen, which is supposedly the same as my previous 50 watt halogen. I think they are much brighter. They are also quite white rather than warm. The wide angle does spread the light. I have since bought Amazon Basics bulbs which are 2700k and 345 lumens. These are sufficiently bright, have a warmer colour and have a narrower angle for the lighting effect I want in a bedroom. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ flashes on some dimmers...lovely light *by M***W on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 September 2020* Put 2 of these in my bathroom and the system became undimmable. These 2 leds Flashing like crazy. Removed this same 2, (out of 4 lights in bathroom) and system works fine.Assume some old dimmers not suitable for LEDs...Will experiment...RESULT...yes some dimmers not compatible!In the Louge used 8 bulbs...A lovely bright light, but can set very low on dimmer.Hence 3 stars is now 5!!
