There is not much padding on cushioning on the inside of the case. The top of the case has a thin foam liner and bottom of the case has an even thinner foam insert. I may have to add a little foam to it. The case comes with a carabeaner to latch the case to hooks, backpacks and other items. It also has a very secure latch that secures the case closed and ensures it watertight integrity. I like this little case a lot. I can travel with my drone with less worries about it getting damaged.
