I find that it holds up to 3 tsp or 1 Tbsp of loose leaf tea. The two halves fit together very snugly yet it is still so easy to open (which is always much appreciated). I like how the long stem makes it easy to grab and pull out of my teapot and I love the fact that its silicone (so it is easy to clean). As a bonus, it comes with a little matching silicone dish. I love the little dish because it keeps my tea tray cleaner. The one downside is that it did leave some tiny bits of tea leaves behind but I would expect this with nearly any infuser. Overall, I can still say that I really enjoy using it. Maybe I’m just a sucker for aesthetically appealing kitchen gadgets but this one is definitely a keeper for me. ### ⭐ Good idea that doesn't work out *by P***S on April 11, 2017* Some reviews say the holes are too big. Mine are too small to allow water into the loose tea. It floated. Even after I dangled it a while and immersed it and got bubbles, the thing still floated. And then when I removed it from the cup, it's slow in releasing the bit of water it did take in, so it's just a mess. The price is right, but the product is lacking. It's cute standing in my glass front cabinet with my special tea cups. Maybe someone will comment on it, and I'll say, "You can have it!" ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely love this adorable little thing! *by H***4 on September 29, 2015* Seriously the most adorable (and functional) thing I've ever purchased! I'm absolutely happy with this purchase. It's freaking adorable, washed well in the utensil holder of the dishwasher, and is perfectly functional. It loses a few tiny leaves, but that doesn't bother me at all. They're either so small I don't notice them, or they fall to the bottom of the tea anyway. For this price, friends might be getting these for Christmas.Update: I totally ordered four more. 1 for work, and 3 to give as gifts.
