I just received my liberty safe light for my cannon valley forge safe and i must say it works really well it light up my key pad very well. Cons . The magnet is not super great but unless your swinging your safe door super fast like your mad at the world its not going to fall off or move. The next bad is that its not Motion activated but then im not sure it is supposed to be but thats fine as well.

*** JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE STATES THE MAGNET IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE*** This is exactly what I needed for my safe is it the best no but it works with minor modification. Pros: bright red light that is easy to turn on, it is rounded at the bottom so it sits right above the bezel on the combination lock, it lights the keypad amazingly well. Cons: It is Overpriced, requires modification right out of the box in order to use it as it is intended, when ordering buy flat Earth magnets you will be need one, have a hot glue gun available also. See my pictures for what I did. This would receive a better review if it wasn't almost $20 and had a magnet that works, the magnet it comes with is a rubberized or vinyl type material magnet that doesn't stick to anything, not even other magnets, I did like another reviewer commented and bought earth magnets that are super flat and actually hold this to my safe well and is easy to get off of it incase you need to change the battery

This is exactly what I was looking for to be able to open my gun safe in the middle of the night. It is magnetic and produces sufficient red light for two minutes before it automatically shuts off.

Simple design, magnetically attaches to my gun safe, lights instantly with red light that stays on for about 5 minutes, easily bright enough to see keypad without destroying night vision.

Got one of these before and works great except for the magnet is weak. I added a stronger magnet. This purchase I bought two more and both batteries were dead. Did not want to spend time waiting to exchange them so I just replaced the batteries and added the stronger magnet and done. Not sure how long the batteries will last and of course depends on the usage so I bought a some more to have on hand. They are $3.79 for ten. expiration 2028. So for 80 cents I just replaced the batteries. There are 2 types of these, one for the digital lock and one for the combination lock. Choose the one for your lock.

Works great on my safe lights up enuff to see at night or in the dark. Good strong magnet.

I wouldn't purchase this again. The light is very dim and the magnet that holds it to the safe face isn't very strong. Nice idea, just a little cheap.

Since the keypad on my safe is not illuminated, I needed a device that would allow me to use the keypad in darkness should the need arise. I was able to attach it to a Winchester 12 gun safe with the magnet on the back. The magnet could be more “magnetic” but it sticks and that’s all that matters. A simple push button on the device will illuminate your keypad for 2 minutes before it shuts off. Simple, easy and it works.
