Review: Perfect For Making Holes For Bamboo Poles (Tomato Cage Supports) - I use bamboo poles for tomato cage supports. They're cheap and durable, but getting them in the ground used to be my least favorite part of gardening. I used to just shove the bamboo in the ground. Sometimes they would go in easy, but most often they were difficult to get in very deep, and I would have to really bear down. It got old quick. I have no idea what this tool is designed for, but it makes the absolute perfect holes to place bamboo poles in the ground, and it enables me to get them twice as deep. It's solid steel, the handle is very comfortable, and it goes in the soil like butter. What more could you ask for?

Sometimes they would go in easy, but most often they were difficult to get in very deep, and I would have to really bear down. It got old quick. I have no idea what this tool is designed for, but it makes the absolute perfect holes to place bamboo poles in the ground, and it enables me to get them twice as deep. It's solid steel, the handle is very comfortable, and it goes in the soil like butter. What more could you ask for?
