ConvaTec Eakin Cohesive Slim Ostomy Barrier Seals, 2 Inch Diameter, Box of 10

I have been using these wafers for 10 months now and very rarely have issues with leaking. I cut about 1/4 around from the outer edge and roll that into a log to lay in a skin crease to prevent leaks from that crease. These wafers do not irritate my skin al all and come off easily with an adhesive recover wipe.

The original and still the best Eakin seals but now in a slimmer variety. I prefer the slimmer ones as I was squashing the originals about this thickness anyway. These feel a little grainy and the reason is because they have stoma powder or karaya powder embedded inside which helps them manage moisture from the stoma which has constant mucus leakage. I have tried what I believe to be every other ring on the market and none have had the same amount of stick as these. I’ve been doing ostomy care for almost 2 decades and I’ve been an ostomate for one decade. Currently my insurance does not pay for these and so I pay out of pocket I will always prefer something less expensive but compared with everything else I found these seem to be a reasonable price.

Did not change time to repatch for better or worse.

I love the Eakin Cohesive slims. They make every ostomy change so much better. "They are a great product and I highly recommend this product to those of us who need it.

You ain't leakin' if you use an Eakin!! With a Temporary (Hopefully) Ileostomy from a 9.5 Hour (Was supposed to be only 3.5 Hour) Gastrointestinal Colon Resection/Colectomy???? The Stoma Nurse was Horrifically inept & could not even speak ENGLISH enough for me to scarcely understand her (& I'm a French Canadienne Emigrant & we genetically LOATHE L'Anglaise)....I had horrific seal leaks & failures until I spent about 2 nights haunting the Ostomy boards. I kept seeing glowing reviews for the Eakin seals. These Seals used in conjunction with an Ostomy bag BELT + a 2 Pieces Hollister Bag & Wafer Set up is unparalleled THE BEST! My Wafer now wears out before I ever have any issue with the seal or nary any smidgen of an indication of a leak or even the slight whisper of a start of a seal leak or failure. Naturally, Shaving & cleaning the skin along with a hair direr to heat & dry the skin as well as Heat the Seal onto the wafer before applying the whole Kit & Kaboodle is advisable & helpful!!.

These work great have used them before much better than strips and or paste. Price is great ! Would definitely order again!
