It has a nice knitted design, and a pretty thick side insulative layer. The biggest down fall of this hat is the size(which I listed under the Con). Built for the average and anyone outside of it is pretty much no really of much use. For a 15$ cap, it says to dry clean only but I'll probably just stick it in the washer.Pro -* It's comfortable and has a visor.* It's nice and thick (with zero wind insulation, as in very little at all)Con -* If you have 23 inch circumference head (58.5 cm) the fit will be a bit tight. Only if you want the a tight fit, pass on this cap. Even though it's a tight fit it's still very comfortable. It is just my preference.* I had this to supplement my ski mask and sometimes with it alone. If it's windy even with a rather low 10 mph breeze, it's pretty damn chilly and I would not recommend this for a daily wear if it's past that wind speed. So to note, if you live in a normally breezy area, pass on this too as the knitted structure of the cap offers little to no protection against the wind and go for something more solid. I abused the crap out of this cap during my snowboarding trip and it is was very durable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Practical and Pretty Newsboy Knitted Hat With Visor *by G***0 on Reviewed in the United States on December 13, 2015* I was so excited when I saw these knitted hats, as they combine the warmth of a toboggan type hat with the comfort and practicality of a cap with a visor; I have very long hair and I have for years braided it and gathered it on top of my head and worn a cap with a visor and a knitted toboggan pulled over it when i work outside doing barn chores (really lovely sight :), feeding the horses and so forth. These eliminate that problem, as the extra material in the top accomodates my "top knot" perfectly. My head stays warm and the sunlight stays out of my eyes and also the rain and snow is kept off my glasses as I work. I bought three of these in different colors, and will wear them for other activities as well. Plenty of room for tucking hair up high! Double layer of knit yarn. Good deal. I ordered black but they sent brown--I'm okay with it though. Seems like I own lots of black though, & it's easier to find than if I were looking for another black item. I have a small head circumference and fine hair and this fits perfectly.
