However I took a pair of warm black socks, put them over the fingers, cut off the heel, quickly hand stitched them over the existing finger cover and now I LOVE these glittens. Took me 15 minutes to do (easier than returning them, where I live). Good for the 40 degree below zero work I did a couple of weeks ago out feeding horses and cleaning run ins.How do you let the manufacturer know to add extra material over the fingers? I also found the velcro more annoying than helpful for what I do. I don't leave my fingers exposed long enough to warrant fixing them out of the way so I covered them with patch so they wouldn't stick to my scarf, horse blankets, rope, manes, my own hair, etc while working. ### ⭐⭐ Not What I Want in a Glove/Mitt *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2014* Bought a medium since reviews seemed to indicate product tended to be on the small side. Glad got this medium as the palm is tight where mitt flap attaches. First thing did was took off the Velcro tabs as they were in my way and would catch on other apparel and stuck to back of mitt when didn't want it to. Then sewed the thumbs shut as there was not enough material to keep the thumb in place and didn't want cold thumbs. Then, since I usually wear small, the mitt part was too big so I turned them inside out and sewed them smaller and cut off the excess. Also, since tight across palm, have to take mitt flap back to remove them by the finger tab and found this to be annoying. Haven't had real cold weather to access the fabric. It was in the teens when first tried them out. I've had others that were better, but haven't found the perfect product yet.
