If you're a chocolate enthusiast like me, the 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips are a must-have in your pantry. These little morsels of indulgence have elevated my baking and snacking experience to a whole new level, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The first thing that struck me was the rich aroma as I opened the bag. The deep, complex scent hinted at the quality of the chocolate within. The chips themselves are perfectly sized, making them versatile for a variety of recipes, from cookies and brownies to pancakes and trail mix. What sets these chocolate chips apart is the exceptional balance of sweetness and bitterness. Excellent for truffles.

I really like the Ghirardelli chips for baking, dipping chocolates, making candy, etc. They just have a wonderful taste and flavor, and they melt nicely, as well as setting back up without being super hard. This is a pretty good price for them. The 10 oz (yes they've reduced the size of these like everything else!!) at my grocery store sells for about $5 if you can't find them on sale, so for a 20 oz bag this was good.

Best for baking

Most premium chocolate for dipping is $10 to $20 a pound plus shipping, but at this Add-On price of $5.24 for 20 ounces, this chocolate is near-premium at an attractive price. I like to make fine chocolates at home, made with proper tempering, and these "baking" chips are a great value for me. For my taste I tend to prefer a chocolate that is mid-way between milk chocolate and bitter-sweet dark chocolate. I have a very good source for high quality milk chocolate at a favorable price that I blend about 60/40 or 70/30, with these Ghirardelli Bittersweet baking chips being the lesser part. When properly melted and tempered, this blend makes a tasty dipping chocolate with nice snap, mouth feel, and flavor. In any event, it is very, very much superior to the imitation-chocolate-like concoction that comes on low cost box chocolates, and waxy Easter chocolate candy. In my opinion, this is very nice economically-priced, good quality dark chocolate. Those popular peanut-butter cups with the name that begins with "R" are pretty darn tasty, but it is easy make a superior tasting version at home for only about 1/3 the cost. And when you make them at home, they won't incorporate the controversial laboratory-created chemical fat substitute for cocoa butter that "R" uses to lower their cost.

I have been a candy maker for years , but always bought the cheap chocolate chips. Never again after using this product. My chocolate covered peppermint patties have never taste better.

Great product to use for baking cookies, bread and cake. Product is well sealed and arrived in good condition. Delivery was prompt and efficient too. Will purchase again.

Perfect for chocolate chip cookies!

Obviously at this price I thought I was getting a huge bage of chocolate chips. This is a small bag worth $10.00 max! This is the biggest rip off in Amazon history!
