Big Size Superior Cotton Short Knit Beanie

I'm allergic to all sorts of poly etc., hence was happy to order a 100% superior cotton beanie. The hat looked fine after initial inspection, however, when I was ready to use it, I checked all the labels. The hat has been made in China (no surprise there) of a 40/60 poly/cotton blend. There is nothing wrong with that kind of fabric, I suppose, but this particular hat has been advertised as 100% cotton. I never had the hat on my head, and tried to return it. The return was approved, but I had to pay the mailing costs. I consider this to be totally outrageous, being misled and paying for it!!! I'm truly surprised Amazon allows for this kind of practice.

At last, a decent hat that fits my large head! I have trouble finding hats in my size. I was looking for a hat that fits but is flexible enough to fit in my jacket pocket. This fits the bill. It is soft, fairly warm, and I like it. Still need a hood on those super cold Chicago days but for most days, it is perfect.

Purchase for a large person and it worked. Stays in place, good quality.

Works well, not TOO hot, but still keeps my head and ears warm.

The selling point was the size 12 X 9. The actual size is 9 X 9. I guess I'll make the best of it.

The only beenies I wear. I have a 7-5/8 head so this is one of the few covers that don't give me a headache.
