Don't be taken for a fool.
I bought these for shooting, why? for the 34 D B protection. I also bought a cheaper pair as a spare, different make and half the cost £16.95. The only difference between the two, a second layer of thin sponge, cost around 2 pence a side. These say on the net for shooting..... when mine arrived on the back of the box it states may not be an accurate indicator of protection against noise such as gunfire...believe me there is no difference between these and the cheaper ones I bought with 22 D B for shooting. This is not a good product if you want to protect your hearing while shooting.

Small for my ears

Delivery was in order and it was in good condition as stated. Do note that this item will Only Reduce Sound from your Environment not shut it completely. It helps if you have one and not have to charge it like an ANC Headset and Less the Music if you need them. It fits well on normal size head but if you think you have a bigger head then average this might not be for you.

I used Ai to give me a list of top ear muffs, prioritizing weight and being slim in design over everything else. These were top rated, not just for being lightweight and slim, but also for how they muffle sound. While they may not reduce noise to a 3M brand level, these are incredibly lightweight, affordable, and the best part IMO is the cut outs at the bottom. I use these for work, and regularly lay on my side, and my shoulder would hit any other ear muffs. The design of these is superior in my opinion, and perfectly fit my needs. Highly recommend.

I've used this product for 10 months as of December 2025 for indoor range firearm practice. Use then approximately 6-7 times a month for a total of about 1000 rounds a month (9mm). I use them in conjunction with the throw-away polyurethane foam ear plugs. I have found them to very effective, light weight, reasonably comfortable and very fairly priced. Some complaints I've seen is that, since they are indeed foldable (collapsible), getting them on your head is sometimes a bit of a challenge after taking them out of your range bag! I admit that sometimes you have to manipulate them a bit but I do not see that as a big issue. They do the job of safely reducing the noise level and as far as I'm concerned that is what I really care about. I have held numerous conversations with other shooters and RSO personnel and have little to no trouble hearing or understanding them. I have not tried them with a rifle but I will hazard a guess and say that they will likely not interfere with your handling of that weapon (only a guess). I recommend them.

My wife and I are both musicians, and need to be careful about our hearing. We would not vacuum, for example, without using hearing protection. But all the headphone types of protection -- and we have four pairs from different makers, including the "big names" -- have one thing in common: they press so hard on the sides of your head, on your jaw muscles etc., that the discomfort and headaches they cause make them impossible to use for more than a few minutes. The only exception, the real answer to this problem, is the Pro For Sho ear protectors. They do not put your head in a vise, and it is even possible to loosen them by keeping them open for a while. Tried that with a pair of 3m and the headband snapped in two! Pro For Sho protectors are _comfortable_ and they do the job better than the others. Because you can wear them for as long as you want, you will use them more. Haven't measured the spl reduction, but I can hear a difference of .5dB change of loudness in music; these do reduce loudness to the point where it will not harm your hearing, and the noise is reduced over a wide frequency spectrum as well. I just received my second Pro For Sho hearing protectors -- when something is this good, you want to have a backup!
