I just use my hands to gently work it through my hair and scalp a bit and then I comb it out after spraying on a detangler. I had forgotten how great this conditioner is. I tried it as a rinse-out conditioner but it works much better for me if I use it after I have towel dried my hair. I have frizzy, somewhat curly hair and this takes away most of my frizz. I live in a high humidity climate. My daughter recently asked me for something to put in her hair (she has the same hair as me) and I let her use this...she loved it and I've since ordered for her.
