Flawless and faultless , clarity is perfect . people not used to using radios put them to their mouth that's what makes transmission muffled. take a few inches away from the mouth , speak clearly and you have a crystal clear conversation. I have used from from way down in cellars to people of a 4th floor in an attic with absolutely no break . My partner and myself tested them when they arrived and he went down to his workshop and I stayed in the house .
