Good Blades
I had tried using "metal" 6in blades to cut apart pallets. These worked so much better as the length of the blade made cutting the middle boards easier and the metal/wood combo cutting teeth made starting the cuts much easier. With the metal only blades I had to pry the boards a little loose to fit the blade between. With these I just started cutting. I used one blade to cut apart 4 pallets that all had many extra nails throughout then just typical 2 or 3 nails per. I then used the same blade to cut through wood fence that had metal brackets on metal poles. These blades cut both the wood with ease and the brackets. Even cut a 1/4 in U bolt.

Extended use
I have used these blades before and they work well and hold up well and last longer than others that I have used.

Good quality blade
These cut a lot of material before getting dull. I’ve never had one break either.

Great for wood, not so much for anything harder IMHO.
Sharp when new, but dull quickly of you hit anything other than wood. They do tear through wood, cutting cleanly and quickly. I was cutting window sills off of my house while installing modern windows. The blade hit the stucco on the outside of the house a few times and the blade became worthless instantly, the teeth rounded over. Seemed to me that when I used Dewalt blades, they stood up to abuse a little better. A sawzall device is meant primarily to do demo work and cut through a lot of different materials as a matter of course. Anyway, if you are cutting only wood, they are great blades. Flexible to bend around corners slightly (e.g. flush cutting against a surface) but stiff enough to cut straight if you need that.

Freud 9- inch x 6-12 Tooth Demo Demon Diablo Reciprocating Saw Blades
I own 6 saws,I use Freud Blades on each and everyone- I have been building "Heirloom Quality" custom woodwork for 30+ years, my reciprocating saw is used mostly for cutting small limbs, but when I go to one of my 100 year old barns to "reclaim" the old high character lumber for "Barn-wood furniture" I have found this blade is the ticket for removing the very brittle wood, they last a long time, cut very quickly and don't wander like cheaper brands- you will never go wrong with Freud Blades- Thanks Amazon for supplying such a high quality blade, for the ability to shop from the backwoods( I'm 75 miles from any store that carries any reciprocating saw blades ) and to all the folks who take the time to review the products- and Thanks Freud, for the very best in blades and router bits

good value and durable
I used these on my recip saw to cut juniper into firewood. I cut some trunks 12 - 14 inches diameter. These are much better than the pruning blades and the edges last longer and do not break as easy. When my chainsaw was down for repairs, they take a bit longer than a chainsaw, but will do in a jiffy. Next I will test to see how they work on pvc.

incredible blade
used it to cut nails removing a fence, went through the nails and was good for cutting tree branches, I cut 130 fence nails and several tree branches and it barley wore the blade, I would have used two of the cheap ones, I'm going to order another set....buy they are well worth the money

Great Blades!
Ive bought these a few times and theyve been great. Use them for almost everything, from cutting smaller branches/ stumps to light metal. Just know paint will rub off first use so might stain whatever youre cutting. For the price, great value.

I am a phan of these blades. Cheap and effective. I use them to hog through deck screws. BUT, I received sixes instead of nines. Amazon has a phantastic return process. Since the postal strike, I discovered the wonders of a certain P courier; no label returns. Beautiful.

I really recommend Diablo Blades. I used buy them on Homedepot but sometimes here the price is better.

Diablo blades in general are the go too for most professional woodworkers and I fall into that camp. Amazing products that work exactly as you'd expect from a quality blade. I'm done buying cheap blades that never last and cut poorly. Diablo Rocks!

Had to widen frames for windows and trim studs with screws and nails in them. These blades work well you don't need a lot of pressure on the saw to cut the material. Works well and doesn't splinter too much.
