## Description

Ultracure with its BBA Certificate is one of the leading products on the market for the control of rising damp. Ultracure is a Sliane based cream that can be used in all types of masonry without the use of high pressure equipment. The cream is delivered by hand pressure only from a simple displacement pump and injector lance into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course. From here the low molecular weight Silane effectively migrates into the masonry pores and fully passivates across the mortar joint as the cream reverts to a liquid phase. Upon curing a hydrophobic chemical damp proof barrier is formed in-situ. Curing of the DPC starts immediately with the final cure taking 2-6 weeks depending upon wall thickness. Extensive field experience with this technology demonstrates that Ultracure will perform as well as any conventional liquid injection system against rising damp. Special Properties Fast, clean installation. No high-pressure injection pump required. Virtually odourless, low hazard. Precise dosing. No pump cleaning required between jobs. Approved by the British Board of Agrément.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap solution to cure damp wall.

Just treated a section of wall that has always been slightly damp.Very easy to apply. Goes a long way. Any DIYer could do this, no need to pay hundreds for some workers with machines. I'll update this review if it doesn't work.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's very thin!

I expected it to come out as a paste, more like silicone or caulk. It didn't, it was very watery. I lost the first holes worth when I squeezed the applicator guns trigger a little too hard. It shot out like creamy washing up liquid! So be warned!On lime morter it doesn't cover as well as expected. I'm assuming the drilled hole is probably bigger inside the bed, due to voids in the mortar. I initially ordered 6 tubes, should have been plenty, but had to order another 4, so be warned!Other than that, once I'd got the hang, it was a simple process, if a little messy. Don't forget the plastic bungs to fill the hole afterwards!Perhaps next time, I'll use the rods.Time will tell if it works properly. If it does, I'll revise the score to 5*
