I didn’t have to worry a single time about my phone in my trip abroad. Did it look a bit silly? Yes. But I never had to worry about losing my phone and I always had it accessible for photos. Even got some great pics over water and on tops of buildings without worrying about dropping my phone.

Great for phone control at theme parks when hands are full

I'm on my seventh Nite Ize Hitch Phone Anchor and have another one ready to order when this one wears out. I primarily use the coiled tether to secure my phone to my wrist while skiing, working outdoors, and for general use around the house. What I love: The coil length is perfect, the clips are strong and secure, and the overall design is incredibly convenient for keeping my phone accessible but protected. It does exactly what I need it to do. The trade-off: The small fabric tab that connects the metal carabiner clips to the coiled tether is the weak point. With my regular use across various conditions, this fabric loop eventually wears through and separates after about 6-7 months. This is the only reason it's not a 5-star review. Bottom line: At $14.60, I consider this reasonable value for a product I use daily in demanding conditions. The fact that I keep reordering tells you everything - it's the best solution I've found, even with the predictable wear point. If you need a reliable phone tether and don't mind replacing it twice a year with heavy use, I definitely recommend it.

I use a phone tether while hiking, to keep my phone (a Google Pixel 6) protected yet close for navigation and photos. I originally started using the stretchy silicone 'x' type tethers, but they blocked the cameras on the Pixel, and barely stretched far enough. This tether is so much better! It is thin and fits easily between any case I use. The tether ribbon stays out of the way of the charging port and cable, and I no longer have anything blocking my camera. It's a lot easier to get the phone untethered (just pop it out of the case). I also appreciate how the carabiners are solidly built and have a locking feature, so I know the tether will no accidentally unlatch. The Bungie cord part is stretchy, so I can bring my phone from a pouch on my hip to arms length in front of me or held out for a picture without having to pull hard, and without excess cord getting in the way when my phone is put away. This tether really has it all.

Amazing price and fast delivery

This thing is great!!! I actually used it to tether my wallet to my purse. I left my wallet at the mall and gladly it was turned in by an employeeand I got it back, but never again!!

I've never used a phone tether so there's been a learning curve. I like being able to fasten the phone to my purse or use the tether as a bracelet. It feels very secure. I've used a particular brand of low profile phone case for many years and have only had a problem when my phone landed face down on a rock. That cracked the screen protector. After using this tether for 2 weeks, I have multiple screen protector cracks even though the phone has not been dropped or handled roughly. The tab for the tether lifts the phone in the case enough that the edges of the screen protector are exposed and much more prone to abrasions on the edges. I suspect it is also placing pressure on the back of the phone cause extra tension inside the case. I will have to stop using it.

Love this case with tether. I’m a hiker and needed a way to secure my phone to my backpack, having almost lost it a couple of times on steep rock scrambles. Perfect length and easy to use with my iPhone. The ring does not interfere with the charging port. The only trouble I had is with the small locking clip as I find it difficult to turn by hand and had to use pliers to grip it. I solved the issue by leaving the lock on the phone end in the unlocked position; the clip still holds securely without being locked and I can remove my phone from the tether without pliers.

This was a life saver during my holiday and made it easy to carry my phone around when I needed to have my hands free!

I am very happy with the lanyard. Love the security and convenience it offers. I am looking forward to using it on my next travel plan. Attaches securely to belt or bag. I have a sturdy identity wrist bracelet that I can attach the lanyard to that means it is not able to be snatched out of my hand.Best investment. Now no fears of dropping my phone or having it snatched .
