I wouldn't want to leave the loose tea in until I am all done drinking.** A: Yes absolutely. Just flip the bottle upside down, unscrew the bottom lid and remove the infuser. Takes two seconds. **Q: Does the bottle stain over time, particularly coffee and tea?** A: It has not, but stains of tea and coffee are easily removed by placing baking soda on the dish towels and rubbing the cup . Been using it for about 2 weeks and really happy with it. I was looking into a couple of different tea infuser bottles and think I picked the right one. The bottle is easy to clean, the infuser cap can be attached to the top or the bottom, you can rearrange the rubber ring on the inside lids to stop leakage (not that I've had any). The double walled glass keeps my tea hot and warm when I go walking.
