Not as advertised
I haven't had these long, just got them in today. I did put them on and wear them a bit. Good enough to write this review or else I wouldn't do it.First: These shoes are NOT the color displayed on amazon. They are completely desert tan. They do not have the coyote brown looking sides and tongue. This doesn't bother me all that much, but I can see where it would some people.Second: These shoes were advertised by Five Ten as being "quiet". They are anything but "quiet". These shoes make just as much noise, if not a little more, than a pair of issue desert boots. I've got a pair of Oakley Sabot Lows and they are way quieter than these things. I expect they'll hush up just a little bit as they break in, but if you're counting on sneaking up on someone because your shoes don't make noise then you had better buy something else.Third: I was a grunt with the Army for six years and have kicked in more than my fair share of doors in a certain not so nice part of the world. Unlike the Oakley Sabots, in which the soles are too soft, you could most likely actually kick in a door with these things. The soles are pretty stiff and supportive. Not tennis shoe-like at all. Seems pretty tough. They aren't waterproof, and they aren't advertised as being such. I walked through wet grass and they soaked up water like a sponge. I plan to spray the mess out of them with some water repellant spray once they dry. One cool thing about these shoes is that the backside is the height of a low tennis shoe, but the sides are the height of a mid-height boot. This gives you ankle support, but still allows you to run or jump as you would with a lower shoe. Pretty smart of them to do that I think. If you're looking a shoe that looks cool and is pretty tough, then these are your ticket. If you are a contractor overseas are don't plan on leaving the FOB or trudging through mud, these may work for you. If you're in the military and are in combat arms DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES. I expect that some fobbits and pogues will get these things in the hopes that the kind of shoes you wear will cause them to become bad asses, but I would hope that their branch/unit would not allow these things.

Good little boot, a bit small but still comfy.
Comfy enough, and cannot complain for the price. I paid next to nothing and was tired of ruining my shoes to work on the car. They are plenty warm here in the winter (southern winter mind you) and are relativity water resistant.I also noticed they dry out quick after being submerged which is great. I bought these as I wore 5 10 boots down range and could not believe how comfy they were. These are a bit stiffer and will take some getting used to, but overall can be worn all day with no issue.I am somewhere between a 13 and 13.5 mens, so these are deffo snug on me, but I can do with that for now, I'm not ruck-sacking it through the hills of a foreign desert, I'm enjoying being in the states mowing my lawn, or fixing a car so it is of little concern to me.

Great Outdoor Shoes
This is a very good lightweight shoes with great arc support. I use this primarily for airsoft and it is better than any tactical boots out there. Overall this is a great shoe for outdoor activities like hiking or running trails where you need shoes with a lot of grip and support and not hinder your walking/running/reaction speed. One thing I advise those who is thinking of buying this shoes, order half a size or 1 size bigger than your normal shoe size. I always wear a 10.5 for my gym shoes because I want that extra space when exercising but only wear a 10 my normal everyday shoes, I ordered this on 10.5 like I do with my gym/outdoor shoes and it fits like a 10 but since it is designed to be laced up tight it was fine with me.

Not Very Comfortable
When purchasing this shoe ensure to select one that is a full size larger than your normal shoe size. The shoe is very stiff and does not get any easier to wear after a break-in period (three weeks). The soles are made of some sort of hard rubber and are not, as advertised, stealthy (meaning soft soled). It's like walking with dress shoes on, not a lot of give. They look good but are not very comfortable for any extended wear.

Love 'em
I was a bit hesitant to follow the reviews about the shoe being too small, so I mistakenly ordered my normal size at 11 (I wear 10.5-11). When the shoe arrived (very quickly), I was disappointed to find it too small. Long story short, 5-10 set me up to return and I decided to stay on track and buy a size 12. These are a perfect fit, and I am so glad I bought them. They have a snug feel/fit, but are super comfortable. I wear them almost every day now, and all day long, with no problems. They make my day go great! Good, solid construction too.

Way smaller than a normal 10.5
This shoe was way smaller than other shoes in the same size. To be fair though, I did not read any reviews before ordering. So, had I done so, I would have known to order a half a size larger. After I got the right size tho, the grip on these shoes, which is what I ordered them for was nowhere what I expected. They are well made and look good too though.

Over all construction and materials are good but sizing off by one whole size
Over all construction and materials are good but sizing off by one whole size, my 14 is really a 13 and my toes are bumping the tip. No remedy for me, size stops at 14 but for everyone else get the next bigger size than normal. Then this would be a pretty stout hiker. Also fairly stiff will take some time to soften up.

I wanted a lower profile tactical shoe and thought these would be a good choice, because I’ve enjoyed some of my other Five tens for other aggressive activities. Worn a few times on the range and fit a bit snug figured they need a bit more brake in time but never got better. It boiled down to the lacing system, just a bad design. Laces are to short and thin, eyelets do not accept standard laces. Didn’t wear them for like a year, but when my inov8s were on there last leg I thought I’d give these another try and when I did the soles started to come off on my second day of pretty standard activity. Disappointed to say the least and do not recommend these at all.
