And then on taking it out of the box, I noticed that it was all metal and wondered if the whole thing would be dangerously hot when used--thinking of our seven year old in the house. But on both counts I was so pleasantly surprised! First, it is very easy to assemble, take apart and clean--everything about it is simple and easy. There was one part, behind the heating element which after using got a few light splatters of oil, which I worried would be hard to clean, but I just took a damp paper towel and wiped behind the elements. Although the entire thing does get hot, it doesn't get as hot as I feared. In other words, if a kid were to touch the back of it, they wouldn't get instantly burned. And, last but not least, it worked quite well! We got some nice roasted chicken brochettes! ### ⭐ Too much putting together and Taking it apart for me *by S***L on June 13, 2019* This is not what I expected..I spent too much time trying to put it together to no avail. It appears that one of the pieces doesn't fit as it should. I stated in an earlier review on this item that the return date was the same day I received it..I read the date wrong and I am in the process of returning it today. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cooks well, whole unit gets very hot *by D***N on May 27, 2019* The directions aren’t super about how to attach the cog piece at the top, but figured it out.The rear reflector panel comes out for cleaning with some arm wrestling. Not easily.These are minor items.The actual cooking worked well so far.The only thing to be VERY CAREFUL of is that the unit gets hot. Not just the upper part with the coils but ALL of it. Including the base.
